Today i dove into the world of dwarf frog ownership. I've owned a clawed frog in the past. Anyway he's tiny and adorable but he looks weird. like, he almost looks slimy but not. Like, almost like there's stuff hanging off of him. Algae like even. All the fish and frogs looked healthy. I didn't notice this until i got him home. He seems okay though. i dunno wtf.... What could this be?

Someone didn't watch the frog princess. It isn't slime it is mucus. It can be a very natural thing but I'm not sure what is considered normal for a dwarf frog. Some of it might be from the stresses of a new environment.

I believe what you are describing is shedding but of course I can't be sure w/out pics. Keep an eye on it. Some shedding is normal but executive shedding or mucus production can be a sign that the water temps are too high or the water perimeters are off. It would not be a bad idea to test your water chemistry.
