A few years back, Nix used to be a factory-based town. Jobs were abundant and factory workers labored day and night to prepare products for transport to the nearby port.
However, the factories went out of business as imports from other places became more popular. Nix didn't falter and evolved into a town that thrives on almost anything mechanical. Something broken? Nix will have someone who can fix it, no doubt. Holler about it in the street and you'll see three people running for it.
The gym is housed in the old factory, still there as a memory of Nix's past.
