well, Skittle...like being too thin, being too heavy comes with it's own set of problems, and benefits. In this guild, you'd be hard pressed to find the down side of being plus-sized, but there are definite issues involved.
From experience, in my own life (I've gone from underweight to overweight...in the medical sense), if given the choice, I'd rather be big..when I was thin, I was weak and tired. Now that I am over my "optimum" weight, I don't have quite as much stamina as I did, but I'm exercising to improve that. I've also noticed that an old knee injury gives me a bit more trouble than it used to.
On the plus side, now you can't count my ribs from acrossed the room. Also I'm much more cuddly, and don't get sick quite as often. Not to mention, and most importantly, my wife, Phaedra, LIKES me big blaugh

It was not fun at all. I was in worse shape than I am now. AND I COULDNT EAT!!!!! I always got sick after eating more than a small cups worth of food, so I prefer being my size right now^^ The only thing I dont like is wearing bathing suits in public. My top half is not heavy at all....well, in some areas it is, but I just hate my legs. So yeah...and now you have read pointless praddle from Monkey..... sweatdrop

Never been thin, so I don't speak from personal experience, but for some odd reason I always have thin friends, some of which have been severely underweight. They report a loss of energy, sometimes complete lethargic behaviour and getting depressed. Basically what you also get when you're too heavy, except that being too heavy also puts extra strain on your joints.
But personally I think being too thin has no benefits while being too fat can have some. I'm very popular to be hugged, for example. mrgreen It's all a matter of opinion, though.

Hmm..once upon a time I was skinny..back in 8th grade I believe..although it was nice...I'd rather be plump to a point. My whole family (2 older sisters and mom) are rather hefty. They complain more so of back pain, along with aches and pains in joints. Personally, I like the size I am and my fiance is happy with how I look..so it's all good.
