My heart melted when I checked the e-shop and I got a message to update my 3DS. Thank you,Xx Lunar Halo xX and Kitsune_rei, for the research!
Since I'm a neat-freak, I originally planned to put a folder within a folder.
Sadly, there is certain software you can't put in folders: System Settings, Nintendo eShop, and the game you have in your slot.
I thought it was similar to the Apple's iPod/iPhone: Dragging applications on each other to create a folder. On the 3DS, you tap on an empty space and tap the 'create folder' button. Although you can name the folder, only the first number/letter of the title will be on the folder.
Let's see what else is updated~

I can stop looking at it on my menu now, as well as the Activity log and other things I never look at anymore. And now you can fit more things onto the menu, because I was afraid from Day 1 that I would run out of space to put my downloads from the eShop one day. So, here's to Spring Cleaning! 4laugh

finally a way to put all of those video trailers away, but i usually delete those after I have gotten the games.

Its a little disappointing how limited the folders are. No other colors? Only display the first letter, no icons or anything? I've been using various symbols as the first letter. At least they have a good amount of space. (I didn't know, but you can rearrange the size of the icons in your folder when you're in it like you do with the main window.)
I put my videos in a folder, I keep re-watching the Animal Crossing one and drooling over it. I also kept Paper Mario and Luigi's Mansion.

To be honest, I never got to fill up my home screen before the folders. I did however, like to keep my screen as minimal as possible~ 3nodding
