Explanation of Ranks
Enlisted It is the duty of the enlisted personnel to carry out the basic necessary functions of the Air Force on a daily basis. These individuals are the lifeblood of the Air Force and keep this military branch and its sector of the base running smoothly. All enlisted must obey orders from any Warrant Officer, Officer, or Headquarter's Staff, as well as higher ranking enlisted personnel.
Warrant Officers These individuals are the middlemen between the enlisted and officer sections of the Air Force. They are responsible for maintaining order among the enlisted as well as relaying orders and concerns between the officers and enlisted.
Officers These individuals are overall responsible for the majority of Air Force personnel. It is their job to make sure that the Warrant Officers and Enlisted are doing their jobs as they should be done. They serve as liaisons between the Headquarter's staff and the rest of the Air Force. These individuals are in charge of the different wings and groups in the Air Force.
Headquarter's Staff These two individuals are overall responsible for all Air Force personnel and serve as representatives from the Air Force to the main DLCC governing body. Everything done in the Air Force must be approved by these two individuals and their orders override the orders of everyone else in the Air Force. Of course the Warrant Officer of the Air Force is only over the Enlisted personnel while the Air Commodore is over everyone in the Air Force.
Air Force Structure The term "Air Force" refers to everyone and everything in the Air Force.
The Air Force is made up of two or more units called Groups.
Groups are made up of two or more Wings.
Wings are made up of two or more Squadrons.
Squadrons are made up of two or more Flights.
Flights are made up of two or more squads of at least five people each. Flights are also made up of four aircraft.
