Bio: Orphaned at a young age, young Clinton Barton joined the circus along with his older brother. White there, he was trained by very talented people such as the Swordsman and Trick Shot. He gained exceptional skills from these two.
When he was a bit older, he had witnessed the famous Iron Man fending off thugs and gangsters easily. Motivated by this, Clinton used his archery skills to do the same thing. However, during his first public appearance, Hawkeye was mistaken for a thief by police. He eventually met the Black Widow, a very skilled agent, and the two became partners. Battling Iron Man from time to time.
However, he was unhappy being a criminal. He approached the Avengers, wanting to put his skills for the good. Surprisingly enough, it was Iron Man who sponsored his membership for the team.
