(Opeth
Agility: + 3
HP: 39/50)

Opeth was right of course, Xan considered as she tossed him almost the last of their firestone. He couldn't leave this fight. She could, sure, if not for him. As he flamed another length of Thread and dodged yet more deftly she tried to steel her resolve. She was the optimist, right? She had to keep them thinking that tomorrow would be okay.

Xan grinned and did as she was told; that was her Opeth.

Cetalese & Green Halith
HP: 24
Dmg Mod: +2
Thread Burned: 3
Scored: Yes
Current Thread - 6/167

Cetalese and Halith stayed in the Fall and kept up a strong flame, thanks to willpower and the Weyrlings who replenished their firestone. Cetalese had little time to worry about her wingmates or friends after that initial concern for Eliza, because even the end of a Fall held a great many chances for mistakes and injuries. Cetalese hoped that those mistakes and injuries would not be for her or Halith.

It seemed, however, that the Fall had one more injury in store for Halith and Cetalese.

Cetalese & Green Halith
HP: 18
Dmg Mod: +2
Thread Burned: N/A
Scored: 8-2=6
Current Thread - 6/167

The Thread caught a glancing blow along Halith's already injured leg and part of her side. With some experience under her wings, Halith went between more quickly than she had the time before and shed the Thread in the chill. Cetalese helped brush the frozen pieces from her hide as they reappeared in the fight again.

Halith?

I will try to stay in, Cetalesemine. It was a small Scoring. We can make it.

D'lin & Plexith
HP - 62
Dmg Mod - (-3)
Thread Burned - 5 + 5 Wingleader bonus (which I neglected to add until now lol) = 10
Scored - no
Current Thread - 0/167 Huzzah!

Worrying over the rest of his wing and fighting the thread that appeared before them took up the majority of D'lin's concentration for the next couple of hours, numerous reports of injuries were relayed through Plexith and while a couple of the wings riders had had to turn back to the Weyr before the end of the fall the majority of them had made it through when the silver threads suddenly ceased to fall.

Almost startled by this sudden end D'lin looked around him at the rest of his wing and signaled for them to regroup as he took a head count and assessed their injuries.

S'kor and Bronze Scarath
HP: 53
Agility: -4

S'kor's eyes flashed with fury as Scarath reported Dynith and Optheli had been scored. He knew he could protect his sister only so much. They were dragonriders in their own right, and knew the risks. Are they flying well Mine. Dynith will protect Hers. Several have sustained minor scores. Dynith, Halith, Cheryth, Hatteth, and Plexith report needing more firestone. Plexith orders back into formation. Without waiting the bronze moved back into his place with a loud rumble.

He listened to the reports with a nod. Tell the replenish riders so they'll be ready. S'kor knew the riders would scramble as soon as word came. He looked over at D'lin when he noticed no more Thread was falling. Now they would have to preform the changeover for real instead of just in practice.

Optheli and Green Dynith
HP: 32
Agility: +2

Optheli kept an eye out for the rest of her wing. They were flaming well and few injuries. Dynith crooned when no more Thread fell. Plexith says we do well and orders the wing to reform. The green tried to look everywhere but her Wingleader.

The girl smiled and patted the green's neck. He's right. You are doing very well. Deftly she guided the green back to her place. She would have to watch that better next time. They couldn't leave holes.

Cetalese & Green Halith
HP: 24
Dmg Mod/Agility: +2

The cessation of Threadfall couldn't have come soon enough. Cetalese let Halith bring them back into their rightful place as the wing formed up and, as subtly as possible, hunched over in pain and checked her leg. She winced slightly at the picture her leg made. The Threadscores were covered in a thin layer of crusty dried blood and were still oozing in most places. It was incredible to her that she was in as good of shape as she was. With any luck, this would be the only wave of Thread and she could get the wounds seen to sooner rather than later. She was concerned enough about herself and Halith's many new soon-to-be-scars that she wanted numbweed and bandages on the wounds ASAP. Not to mention that she was beginning to feel light-headed and did not want to fall off her dragon's back mid-fall. That would be fatal to them both.

Cetalese steeled herself and straightened in the saddle, feeling the wounds pull. She closed her eyes for only a moment against the pain, then put herself back in the proper working mindset.

Good job, Halith, Ceta congratulated, patting her Green's dark neck. You were wonderful.

I did well? Halith asked hopefully, her pain a faint undercurrent in her tone. Will Plexith think so?

I'm sure that he'll think you did very fine, love. We'll get back to the weyr soon, I promise. Cetalese sincerely hoped that promise was not in vain.

She looked up, eyes searching out D'lin as if she would see his orders before Halith relayed them to her.

F'ren and Green Toulonth

Agility: 5
HP: 35

The end of Thread couldn't have come sooner for F'ren. He face was white as looked behind him and saw the score on Toulonth's tail. It wasn't bad but the fact she was hurt at all made F'ren feel sick. When D'lin called the Wing to order F'ren was glad of the distraction from Toulonth's injury. "I am alright Mine, it is nothing, others are more badly hurt than i am, we fought well." she reassured him. They regrouped as requested, waiting for the order to return to their Weyr, the ground crews would deal with anything that got through.

And I guess I missed it sorry)

Amunet had on her matching outfit as her hair was ready for a flight. Seth was showing the place they must be to help. Amunet walked with her Dragon outside and got on his back leaving to the skies. Last time Thread showed she was busy else where and was lucky not to be struck but this time they knew it was coming and this time they may not be so lucky.

They took to the skies and Seth lead to the place he knew they need to be. His flame stretched out to the falling Thread.
