 Aodhnait Aodhnait didn't turn back. She had a deer to take down.
She moved faster than before, hiding herself as best she could without disturbing the forest. Glamour may work on humans, but he had a point. Animals were more sensative than most sentient races. They relied as mush on the sixth sense as much as there others. Something too much thinking overrod with most beings.
She crouched down low as she finally found the herd. She was hesitant to admit that he was right about something else. Her eyes maybe better than say... humans. But they weren't like an animals. Complete darkness to humans were vague silouettes to her. She would not let that detour her though. A silouette would have to be enough.
Crouching down, Aodhnait posed her knife in her hand. She stepped forward slowly, downwind of the deer. One of the deer raised his head aware that something was near. She took the chance that threw straught and true. The buck felt and the herd ran. Aodhnait stood and walked to the fallen deer. It was crying out and making a strange gurgling noise. She pulled out the weapon from his neck and put him out of his misery.
Now to take her prize. Grabbing his antlers, Aodhnait pulled on the deer. Dragging his toward the place were her camp would be. But it was slow and arduous, and she soon realized she couldn't drag the large deer herself. "Idiot! You've gone soft. You should have known better." she scowled herself. Long ago she wouldn't have made such a stupid mistake. But years of civilizationa nd easy living had made her forget. She should have gone for something smaller.
This left only one option. She needed help and she was loath to ask for it. But she didnt have a choice if she wanted enough food to last the next few days. With a grow, she headed into the forest to look for the cat boy.

Renjii The cat boy didnt stray too far from the girl but he was hiding when he caught the sight of a boar. He watched and waited carefully untill the boar got close. When it was close enough Renjii pounced out and sliced the boar with his claws. The boar made a loud squeal and took a few steps and collapsed. The pressure from the pounce hurt his wound and Kisuke grit his teeth. He licked his fangs and walked toward the boar. He knew the squeal was loud enough for anyone that was near to hear and Renjii had to hide it quickly. He grabbed the boar and moved it a few feet but he grew tired and the wound weakened his strength slightly. He sighed and sat down, he wondered if he should eat it raw.

Aodhnait Aodhnait hear the squeal that pierced the night. It was hard to mistake the sound of a dying animal. She was surprised at how close it was though. She squinted. There! She found the dead animal quickly and his killer. "Well, well, well. Seems I'm not the only one with a large kill. Come." she said gestering. She grabbed the boar by it's tusks and pulled. It was considerably lighter than the deer but still to took work. "If you can make it. Come with me." she said. She dragged the kill back to where hers was. It took awhile and by the time she got there she was panting. "Guess this means we'll have to guard out kill all night." She sighed. She supposed they could have done worse.

Renjii Renjii hissed at the girl when she grabbed his kill until he realized that she was dragging it to her own kill. With all his strength Renjii helped dragging the boar so they would get there quicker and when the arrived they both rested. Renjii panted rather rapid, the bleeding seemed to stop but Renjii was still rather weak. Renjii thought about it, what made her change her mind. He looked at the deer and looked at the bloody skid marks where it was dragged and realized she couldnt transport it as good. He then sighed. He didnt trust the girl enough to fall asleep anyway, He did try to kill him for his fur coat earlier. Renjii ear twitched and his tail wrapped around him. "Or we could build a fire, and keep the animals at bay." He then looked at the girl with his glowing emerald eye. "My name is Renjii by the way." He said nodding toward her. He didnt want to shake her hand, his hands were bloody from the boar. He knew that eventually he would have to find something to drink too.

Aodhnait Aodhnait sat near the dead animals, but on the opposite side of the cat boy. She leveled out her breathing and tried to relax. However she didn't trust the boy. Since when were cats ever reliable. She might be better off skinning him. At his suggestion, she sighed. It was a good idea but the heat would help promote the decomping of the animals that the cool night kept slowed down. "If I'm going to do that. I'll have to clean them as well." she got up and dusted herself off. It was still a decent idea.
She paused as she gave his name. She nodded in return. "You may call me Aodhnait." she stated and went to find wood.
It was awhile before she returned with an armload of dead wood.
She set them up and started to sat a fire. "Do you know how to skin an animal?" asked the anthro.

Renjii Renjii nodded when the Aodhnait gave him her name. Renjii watched her leave and to only come back with some wood. He heard her ask if he knew how to skin an animal. "I assumed you did, since you tried to on me earlier." He said with a small chuckle to lighten the mood around. He then extended his claws. He knew how but not really good. "Yes I do, but not exactly the best at it." He assumed that she wanted him to skin them so Renjii went to work. When he was done he did it better then he expected. There were a few cut marks in the animals but not too much. He hung up on a near tree branch with his belt, which he will clean later.

Aodhnait Aodhnait only glanced at his attempt at a joke. She smirked slightly "Oh, I can skin. You just don't look competent enough to work with flame. Might set yourself on fire." she stated. She chuckled slightly. By the time he'd finished skinning the animals she had a blazing fire going. She feed it a few more chucks of wood before she stood up again. "Lay the skins on the ground, Cat. I need something to lay the meat on." she pulled out a knife and stabbed the deer a little, slicing him open. She gutting him and started cutting the meat into large slabs. He didn't waste anything that might be edible. If they played their cards right, this might last them weeks.
By the time she got to the Boar her forearms were already covered in blood. "Make sure no debri or insects gets on the meat. Got it?" she reminded the anthro.

Renjii Renjii looked at Aodhnait with a awkward face, cat? He gave her his name already. "Okay woman." He said back to her and lay the skins on the ground and placed the meat on top of it. He then watched her arms get bloody and watched her to start the fire. "Your jealous I don't require much cloths to stay warm." He said to lighten the mood.

Aodhnait Aodhnait had just begun gutting the boar when she paused to look over at the anthro. She shook her head in a tired way, as if putting up with a child. "IAnd you lucky I don't set fire to you tail. You want to continue this? Because I can throw insult around all night. Hell, I might even enjoy it." she grinned and threw the intestines with the other in a pile just outside of the light of the fire.

Renjii Renjii tail then wrapped around him he held it, "That would not be pleasent." He said and his tail then unwrapped and Renjii walked up closer to the fire and he sat down again. Renjii then looked up at the girl. "Just found it funny that after I gave you my name, you still insist in calling me Cat."

Aodhnait Aodhnait smiled at that, but didnt look up from her work as she slice through the meat and tossed it with that others on the skins.. "We all have our eccentricies." she remark. Though her behavior seemed more pointed than a strange habit.
It didn't take long before the meat was cut completely off the bones. When they left the animal would take what they could of those.

 Kaiya Kaiya bolted to an upright position as she heard what sounded like a scream, faint though it was she heard it never the less. She looked around as she made her way to her feet and stood. She was in the woods, she was confused beyond all belief as she tried to figure out how she got there, especially since the last thing she remembered was being on the ship. Kaiya snorted, she didn't much like being in an unfamiliar place, especially in the dark! When she looked around a moment ago she had spotted what looked like a cave, she made her way to it and looked inside and found it uninhabited, and was just big enough for her to fit inside. Kaiya entered the cave and kneeled down facing the entrance, deciding this is where she will stay til daylight. She divinly hoped that there was a village nearby.
