1. What is Atheistic Judaism, it's a concept I read about but don't understand it.

2. What is Messianic Christianity (I know its considered a Christian denomination, but I don't understand it)

3. What do Jews or the Jewish people consider Jesus Christ as and why do they reject him as the Messiah.

I'm curious because Judaism is one of the most interesting religions and I'm Catholic and want to know more about Judaism, if you consider them Jewish denominaitons.

Well, from what I know, Judaism is one single religion that takes the Old Testament quite literally. Though I can't answer questions 1 and 2, I am pretty sure I can answer the last. As a former catholic myself, I wanted to know more about god's old ways previous to Jesus (though it was mysteriously held back from me, and after looking at it I understand why.)

Similar reasons why Atheists don't believe in him: either they think he was made-up, like atheists, or they think it was a mistake added on from another religion. There are many religions that predate Christianity by a good hundred years that have a similar messiah with a similar story, and they think that Christ was just an add-on mistake.

Another way to go is that they find Jesus to be contradictory to their old god Yahweh, who claimed to be perfect and all-knowing, so changing his mind seems like a major step in a different direction from their god. I would know, I looked at the old testament enough to see that Jesus and Yahweh were quite different people. As well, they also don't think jesus met the criteria to be the messiah, or that all the so-called prophecies about him were made-up in the new testament (which is actually true to an extent)

Also, if you're curious about Judaism, read your Bible from beginning up to the new Testament (AKA just before Jesus come in) and try to deduce what kinds of morals and ideals you can get from just that. You should get a very good idea of what Judaism is like.

Others have told me that the Messiah will bring freedom to the Jews from the Roman Empire (or something like that), but how will the Messiah do that if the Roman Empire no longer exists???

Empires rise and fall all the time. Perhaps a second Roman Empire?
The prophecies in the Bible are often very vague, are you sure it specifically meant the Roman Empire? Can you give me the exact line please?

My teacher told me that the Messiah would save the Jewish from the Roman Empire. And another question is that another prophecies of the Messiah was that he would be a decendant of David, if Jesus was the last decendent of David and had no offspring, who could be the Jewish Messiah???

You're assuming that Jesus was the only descendant of David. It could be another descendant, people had far more than one kid in those times. As well, I don't really recall anything specifically about the Roman Empire being the one that Jesus must save... Also, a a few 'prophecies' of Jesus were self-fulfilling and made up. And example was that in Mathew it was said Jesus would grow up to be a Nazarite as it was 'foretold', but there is no mention of Nazareth besides the one that was referring to Sampson in the old Testament. Also, they misused 'Nazarite', a Nazarite is NOT one from Nazareth but in fact one who AVOIDS alcohol, graveyards, etc. etc., and the fact the book of John and Mathew, despite being about Jesus's biography, tell almost completely different stories if you compare them.

Hallo folks, I just wanna point something out here. I personally am an Orthodox Jew so I can answer a few of your questions and point some things out. For starters, the Bible is a very poor place to look for information regarding Jews, as the Old Testament is a mistranslation of an edited version of the Jewish Torah. We hold no stock by the Old Testament, we follow the Torah, which is drastically different than the Old Testament. Also, the Jews don't have anything against Jesus, those who do only are like that because they hate Christains, not Jesus. According to Judiasm, Jesus if he even existed was an insignificant Rabbi at most, not a son of god or even a prophet. And the idea of the Messiah in Judiasm isn't freedom from a specific nation, wherever you read that was incorrect. In Judiasm, the concept of the Messiah is to bring an end to the 2000 odd year exile that started before the fall of the Roman Empire, so that's where the mistake may have come from.
