Confused about something? Never got around to seeing the old series and have a plot gap?

I'll start:
We never actually see the 8th doctor regenerate into the 9th, so does anyone know which Doctor participated in the last Great Time War?

It seems like it was 8 then something happend so he regenerated into 9 after that cuz they mentions is during 9-10th doctors seasons

The 8th Doctor. The reason being because the 9th made allusions to his meeting Rose and that body to be from the same time frame. Also it would make sense that the Doctor experienced a regenerative trauma during the Time War since there's no evidence to suggest that he had any other reason to regenerate during the hiatus.
