Did anyone else use cosplay.com to order their wig this year? I ordered mine almost a month ago, and they still have not shipped it out. I can not get a hold of them via phone, and they have not answered my email. (I sent 2. One asking for a tracking number, and one asking for an update on my order.) Every time I call them I get the bust signal. They have charged my credit card as well.

I have just over a week for this wig to come in, and I have lost all faith in their company. I never had a problem with them in the past.

Is there any more I can do regarding this issue?

Update: Spent two hours on the phone with the president of the company. Had my order refunded and they shipped the wrong color wig.

If you paid via paypal, you can make a claim through them to get a refund.

As for anything else, I would suggest to keep calling them and spamming their inboxes. I imagine if you do make a paypal claim, cos.com is going to have to pay attention to you then. You could even try sending a complaint through regular snail mail.

If you didn't pay through paypal, then I honestly don't know what to tell you. D:

Hmmm, you could also try mentioning it on the cos.com forums; it might catch the attention of an admin and they may be able to help you there, even though I honestly have no idea if they work with the shop or not.

Good luck.

Rei the Wannabe Wizard
.

I left a message on Kyle Johnsen's Facebook page, (Admin of Cosplay.com) and I left a comment on Cosplay.com's Facebook page. I posted about how dissapointed I was in the company, and that I would NEVER purchase from them again. One of my emails was returned right after this. However at 3:30pm yesterday Kyle Johnsen said that he would find out about my order and he never did.

My bank was useless in the matter, and told me the only thing I ould do is to cancel my credit card. (I'm not sure how this would help, as the wig has already been paid for.) And paypal is giving me issues because I paid as a guest.

I finally have some 'solid' information. I sent this email this morning around 9am:

I am still waiting for some information on this order. You told me that you would get back to me last night, and you didn’t. This wig was supposed to come in in 4-7 days not 4-7 weeks. I am really frustrated with the way I am being treated. I have been purchasing from this company for years and I have never once had a problem like this. The convention that I am attending is one week from today. I need my wig overnighted to me, and I want your company to cover this charge.

And just got a response (12:30)

Hi Theresa,
I'm really sorry, I didn't get into the office until noon today and I apologize for not getting back last night as I didn't have all the info.
I'm showing that there is a tracking number on your package, however I'm not showing any further updates to that tracking. Shipping is not sure what happened either. Sometimes that means a package was lost, but it could also occur from a number of other things.
I can have another one sent out to you tomorrow, if that works? Please let me know.
