Personality: Kaeden acts like a tsundere for the most part, being cold and withdrawn from those he doesn't know. When you get to know his true personality, however, he's always calm, collected and kind in his own way. He doesn't talk much, but he has a sixth sense for being highly perceptive and is surprisingly intellectual, making him a cunning tactician. Contrary to his demonic presence on the battlefield, he actually is a soft soul. Known to be discreetly curious and slightly OCD.

Biography: Since an early age, he was always physically ill and bedridden for most of his life. He dropped out of school and started home tutoring around the age of eight. His doting parents rarely left him out of their sight, as he was their only precious son. It was around this time that they had another child; a daughter this time. Of course, he immediately grew to love his little sister, as she was the only company he had in his lonely room. Around his teen years, he got a little better and was able to walk outside and do things on his own. Though physically ill, he was mentally strong and was more than capable of living a normal life. He took the time of his newly cured life to start rebuilding up his strength, as he had always had a weak physical body. Life seemed normal, until his health took a turn for the worse a few years later when he was around fifteen. He eventually had to go to the hospital now, where he was even deprived of his sister's company. He hated his "imprisonment", due to the fact that he couldn't spend more time with his sister, and she always seemed sad and lonely when she came to visit. Tragedy struck when he heard his seven year old sister had died in a car accident while crossing the road. That set him off to the extreme. No longer caring about the "cures" the hospital had to offer, he dragged his weak body to the medical testing facilitation (AKA, the black market), hoping to find a cure, no matter how deadly the medicine might be. Subject to scientific experiments, his tormentors were never really giving him any sort of cure. He was nothing more than a desperate man with no more use, other than to act in as a lab rat. He eventually was killed through a lethal injection.
Landing in the Rukon District was no different from his torturous life. He had lost most of his prior human life memories, and with it, his illness too. He was able to be hired for work as a woodsman's apprentice, allowing him to rebuild lost strength. After several years of working and living a decent life, he enrolled into Shinō Academy where he began his training to become a Shinigami. He passed through classes with flying colors, excelling in Zanjutsu, Hakuda, Hohō and failing miserably in Kidō. Anyways, he passed through graduation and was eventually accepted into the Gotei 13. Over the years, he has honed his skills and eventually made his way to the top of the ranks as the Captain of the Eleventh Division. He never stops training and trying to improve himself, making him a good role model of the fighting division.

Shikai Abilities:
- Kakyū (火球: Bolide) - The user generates several lances of dark energy that float around the user. When launched, a sonic boom is created, generating explosive energy in the lances and allowing them to fly at amazing speeds before exploding into flames.
Shisa (視差: Parallax) - The user throws a lance, or several lances, of dark energy from the Zanpakutō. These lances of energy are extremely fast and ricochet off objects and the air at high speeds before striking the target, making it difficult to predict where the attack is coming from.
Han Busshitsu (反物質: Antimatter) - Changes the properties of the user's molecular composition, allowing objects to pass through the user's body at will while sustaining a human appearance. While in this form, the user's reiatsu is completely hidden, and inflicted damage is sustained as outer wounds.
Kōchaku (降着: Accretion) - Glowing white ribbons of white matter begins to form around the user's body, enhancing physical capabilities to the supernatural. The user can send out white veins that snake along the ground and snare the intended target with white ribbons. Anything touching the glowing white matter is subject to the gravity manipulation of the user.

Bankai Abilities:
- Kōseifū (恒星風: Stellar Wind) - Ejects and swirls dark energy around both of the user's blades. The swirling energy has a high propulsion rate and can be launched from the blades in a spiral lance shape. It can also bolster attacks from the blades, creating a high cutting friction property.
Kōkan (光環: Corona) - The user performs a quick five slash strike on the target. After the final strike, a column of fire bursts from where the strikes occurred. The column is about five feet in radius and extends into the sky.
Zettaireido (絶対零度: Absolute Zero) - Creates a void in the shape of a black and blue ball and starts to absorb the surrounding reishi. On contact, the ball will crush the target with massive amounts of gravity before freezing them solid with black ice.
Enjitsuten (遠日点: Aphelion) - Ripping off the user's eyepatch, the user's right eye gives off a dark indigo reiatsu. The physics of the battlefield are thrown out of proportion, making surrounding objects weightless as they begin to orbit around the user and the opponents. A mass of reiatsu changes the battlefield into a spacial vortex, in which all entities are trapped inside until the user falls, or it is dispelled by the user. In this spacial vortex, the user's Zanpakutō dematerializes, allowing the user to generate indigo lances of reiatsu at will.

Natural Ability/Training:
- Kenjutsu Master - As a warrior, Kaeden is proficient in the many branches of Kenjutsu and Kenjutsu itself. His sword fighting skills have been known to overpower various opponents, such as those larger, faster, stronger, etc, than him. Over the years, he has even developed some techniques of his own.
Kendō Master - Kaeden's swordplay performance is extremely advanced when using Kendō. He is known to have flexible movement and is able to exchange strong blows with the use of a weapon. The basics of this sword art enhances his mastery of Zanjutsu, allowing him to be an unrivaled swordsman.
Iaijutsu Master - Though rarely used, Kaeden is able to use this style for combat as well as counterattacking. This is most noticeable through a quick draw of the blade. He is also able to draw his blade in the classical iai-goshi and tachi-ai positions. An advancement he has made in this is drawing his blade in tate-hiza and seiza positions. Normally, these would be considered dead poses in Iaijutsu, but Kaeden invented his own way of drawing the blade in these positions; a feat that would be impossible without Shunpo. His best skill in his swordplay is nukitsuke, followed by nōtō [see other abilities].
Battōjutsu Master - Also rarely used, Battōjutsu is right on the line of mastery with Iaijutsu. Both go hand in hand and both are required for successful techniques. Combined with Iaijutsu, this pair forms a deadly swordplay skill when engaging an opponent. With an untrained opponent, Kaeden can literally rip an opponent to shreds in the blink of an eye. The move Kaeden specializes in, in this category, is called the Tsubame Gaeshi [see other abilities].

Utsusemi (空蝉: Molting Cicada) - It allows for a movement at great speed leaving an afterimage behind. The afterimage may even appear to have taken damage.
Other Abilities:
- Furue (震え: Tremor) - A technique involving the nukitsuke and nōtō of the sword. The sword is quickly drawn while moving the sheath back in saya-biki while simultaneously cutting on the draw. The blade is then sheathed. When successfully executed with speed, it would seem as though the opponent was cut without the user drawing his blade. Kaeden has shown to be able to use this in sudden attacks and surprise attacks. Combined with Tsubame Gaeshi [below], it can seemingly rip apart an opponent out of nowhere, even to the point of death.
Tsubame Gaeshi (燕返し: Swallow Reversal) - A technique that involves five simultaneous cuts. After each cut, the next cut is instantly executed by turning the blade until a total of five cuts are done. If done in rapid succession, the cuts will resemble the shape of a star.
