Well, it wasn't really a get-away. I just became an initiate to the fraternity I've been pledging!
I'm not an active of Alpha Chi Sigma, and I was deemed as "SuperPledge" at the first chapter meeting. For being amazing.
Party.
And now I don't have a voice. Well, that's not technically true, I can still talk, but I sound terrible and my throat kills.

Congrats on the Pledge. Now all you need is the Lysol. /is shot
Drink plenty of tea and grab some lozenges and you'll be good to go in a day or too.
Also, don't whisper when you talk. Try to talk in a normal voice because whispering strains your throat. [Advice from a pharmacy manager at my work]

I'm rooting for you to get in.
You might get a lot of benefit investing in vitamin D3 drops, add it to orange juice (or water) and it'll help with sore throat, mouth sores, and colds.

Had some orange spice black tea earlier. Doesn't see like it did too much honestly.
And thank you. I heard citrus helps so I'll get some orange juice next time I have the chance.

And to toon, being an initiate means that you've been accepted into the fraternity. I've already pledged.
