 Hmm... and island like no other, where it has plenty of fish, plenty of animals and fruit, it has shelter and it has anthros... wait, what!? Yeah, anthros, well, actually it only has two. Shayu is an anthro shark, a mershark if you want but he was once a sailor who had been the only survivor of the ship. When he washed up on shore, he soon found himself finding a life around the island, waiting to be saved but he kept stronger by swimming around a lot. The island had a curse, and after some time, he changed into what he is and honestly, he excepted it. One day, he was swimming aroudn when he heard an explosion through the water. He swam away from the island for the first time in years and found that a large fancy boat had hit a reef and due to internal events, caught on fire, some tanks exploding. He noticed a girl get knocked off by another passenger but he swam to her and helped her. The life boats were too packed for him to get her to them so he swam her on the surface of the water till he got her back to the island. At night, he has the chance to go up on shore as he could grow legs, and luckily since it was night time, he carried her to the hut he had used when he was normal, and got her in a cot, taking care of her when he could making sure that she was safe. Soon, she started to wake up but her body already having been affected by the curse, she was already turning into an anthro. She soon runs into Shayu again, but how will she react to her changing and having been saved by a mershark... will feelings develop? [b]Name:[/b]

Name: Alisa Ameilla Age: 20 Gender: Female Anthro Species: Lion fish/Mermaid (Merlion) Personality: Usually quiet and reserved.Alisa is extremely timid and tends to hide from others,especially from strangers.But despite these traits,she is an exceedingly gentle person. Bio: Alisa was the only daughter of a captain.On he 20th birthday,her father decided to give her a grand cruise on his ship.During the cruise,the ship hit a reef accidentally which eventually led in tragedy.As the ship's captain's daughter,Alisa helped every passenger to escape and led them to the lifeboats along with the crew.But accidentally,she was knocked off the ship by a hysterical passenger.everyone thought that she will do just fine,but the only problem is that Alisa can't swim.As she was rocked violently by the waves,she lost her will to live until suddenly,a strange yet amazing creature saved her from the impending death she was about to suffer.But being saved by him meant being afflicted by a curse of some sort.She found her body transformed.She was like a mermaid,yet her tail was quite different and somewhat resembled a lion fish's appearance.The transformation still wasn't completed,and she tried to get away from the island.But the curse was still there,remaining in her body.Soon enough,she returned to the man who had saved her in order to find a cure for it.But somehow,she found out that she wasn't leading straight to the cure.Instead,she was being led to something else,and her feelings were at stake. Shayu swam around the island a bit till he came to a river that went into the island. He swam up the river before he soon found the spring that he loved to come to. He thought about how Alisa, the girl he saved from that boat when she was pushed off. He thought about how she changed into a mermaid similar to him but she swam away, he wondered if she would be okay but he 'sat' and relaxed at the edge of the spring, the water felt so nice.

Still feeling trapped in the island,Alisa heaved a deep breath as she walked around the forest.She still felt a bit angry of herself for just leaving the man who had saved her from the impending fate she was about to suffer.Stopping on her tracks,she looked at her legs which now reverted back to its original color.She looked back towards the sea's direction,then remembered her savior once more.
Shayu...
Alisa shook her head a little then walked on.She's got to look for him and apologize.When she heard a gentle sound that resembled running water,she smiled then headed towards the direction where she heard it.She arrived at a river,and fortunately,found Shayu sitting quietly by the edge of the spring.Alisa crept quietly towards him then poked him gently on the arm when he didn't seem to notice her presence.

Shayu relaxed in the pool, he couldn't stop thinking about Alisa. He just leaned against the side, his arms stretched out relaxing on the sides, his tail swaying out from him in the water. he then thought he heard a sound and then even felt a poke on his arm. He gently leaned his head back before seeing Alisa and smiled, "Alisa... your back." He said gently moving around and smiling to her, "Glad to see you again." He said kindly to her.

Finally getting Shayu's attention,Alisa's cheeks flushed a bright pink when he smiled at her.She took a step backwards then cleared her throat."I-I'm glad you did,"she muttered then met his kind gaze."I just want to apologize for leaving you like that...I didn't mean to,I was just shocked at what happened,"she told him as she lowered her gaze to her legs.She sighed then walked back towards him then sat beside him by the edge of the pool."I don't understand what's happening to me,and to you.I mean,what is wrong with this place?"Alisa asked him,her voice tinged with frustration for not knowing anything about her situation.

Shayu looked at her when she said that, "You don't have to apologize... I can understand why you could have been nervous about this... I am not sure but I believe that this island has a curse, where anyone on this island begins to change... I am not sure why but I know that I have changed too much... I mean, look at me, I have accepted this... I would have been dead out at sea if I didn't wash up on this island... and I wouldn't have been able to save you if not for this curse." He said kindly to her.

Alisa's eyes widened a bit when Shayu explained that the island has a curse.But when he said that if it wasn't for that curse,he would have been dead,and most especially,he wouldn't have been able to save her.She looked at him gently then reached out for his hand with a grateful smile."And I still am forgetting something,"she said then looked directly at his eyes."Thank you so much for saving me.You're right,if it wasn't for this island's curse,we won't be here anymore,alive,"she told him as she looked at the crystal-clear waters of the pool.She dipped her legs in the water and as she did,they slowly transformed into a fish's tail,resembling a lion fish's.
