Spirit Master Basic Class Information
Starting Class: Mage
Basic Function: DPS/CC
Important Stats: Magical Accuracy, Magic Boost
Weapons Available: Spell Book, Orb
Armor Available: Clothes, Cloth
Weapon of Choice: Spell Book or Orb (Preference)
Armor of Choice: Cloth
Class Discription: Spirit Masters (SM) are a very unique class though I have labeled them as a DPS/CC clas that is only somewhat accurate. SMs use some abilities that are in a lot of MMOs such as Fear, and summoning, but in my opinion they take even more of an advantage from them. SMs are the only class in Aion with a Combat Pet which comes in the form of spirits. There are 4 basic kinds of spirits and 2 that are race specific. The 4 base types are Fire (Melee DPS/Tank), Wind(Melee DPS), Water(Casting DPS), and Earth(Pure Tank). The race specific ones are Magma(Asmodian) and Tempest(Elyos). One thing to keep in mind before starting an SM is that if you like to see big numbers when you do damage this is not the class for you as that most of their damage comes in the form of DOTs (Damage Over Time) this does not mean that they do less damage, it just means they have less burst damage. SMs also depend heavily on the spell Fear do keep from being attacked, but make sure you dont send your opponent running into his allies our your in trouble.
Class Summary: SMs are a Very Powerful Class do to thier versitility but they are fairly complicated and there is a lot to learn. But for those willing to learn how to be a good SM you will become highly in demand for groups and one of the most powerful PVP classes in Aion
