Rikki shook his head. "I don't want to leave you. Do you think you're well enough to come with me?" He honestly wouldn't give her the chance to say yes if he didn't deem this area no more safe than anywhere else, and there wasn't a chance he was going to consider leaving her. "We can follow Roch to Famine and see how we can help there, or if they have a place you can heal."

Danny laughed and stood up, albeit a bit slowly. She groaned a little with the pain- it was sort of like waking up after a long, hard work out. Taking a step made her wheeze a little, but she hid it. They had Halloween to protect- there was no time for pain.
"Nah I'm fine. Let's go." she tried to be upbeat for Rikki, but it just came out exhausted. She was tired and needed a nap something fierce. She could deal though. Again she stretched, feeling all of the muscles protesting. Yiiiick this was going to suck.
When it came down to it though, Danny didn't want to be remembered as the ghoul who slept through the fight for Halloween.
She began walking towards the portal and stopped in front of Edel and Moure. She didn't look down, just paused in her steps for a moment and hesitantly said, "Thanks. For back there." No one needed to know what it meant. She just kept walking towards the portal.

Rikki still wasn't certain about this, but there wasn't a whole lot to hum and haw either. Either he stayed here and was potentially in danger, or he left and chose which danger he faced. He took Danny's hand and waved to Moure and Edel as they passed. And then he took a deep breath and stepped through the Famine portal, fearing what he might meet there.

Moure left with Edel. There was a war to wage.
