"An Introduction for myself? I'm Bellatrix Solindo."

After processing what Imhotep meant, she managed to turn her fear into disgust. No amount of information would be worth 'entertainment', not when she would discover the truth in time. Standing from her seat, she spoke a last response before turning to leave. "No, thank you. Keep your knowledge."

Imhotep smirked. He didn't think it would be easy even with just that kind of information. Good thing he didn't come prepared. "Too bad that girl that you seemed to be family with doesn't know." He said wondering if she would turn around and face him now.

"An Introduction for myself? I'm Bellatrix Solindo."

WIth the door half open, Bella was preparing herself to increase her speed until she was completely free of this building. However, the vampire's remark caused a small pause in her steps, in which she confirmed who was meant. She was the target, after all. Just not in a way she'd ever imagined. Bella would be hurt only by having something happen to her emotionally, and it seemed that Imhotep knew that. Without a word, she slammed the door behind her, and sprinted down the hall. She had to check on Amelia; this had to be an empty threat.

The nightclub was relatively quiet. There were a few people enjoying their drinks, and the music wasn't so loud one couldn't hear his own thoughts. The air was warm enough to be comfortable, and the lights were dim enough to be unsettling.

No one took notice of the ghost as he slid in through the open door. He had no eyes, and he kept his pale face blank. Although the ghost couldn't see, he could sense the energy from the few people remaining in the club. They appeared to him as little lights, like candles in a dark room. Each one had its own color, its own cadences.

"Hmmm...Interesting."
His voice was soft, and colored with a rich Scottish accent. He tried studying each of the flickering lights, but had no success in identifying the one he had been searching for. He'd been looking for nearly twenty years now, and there was still no sign of that one.

The ghost's name was Zane Ashton Rivers. He was after his killer, and still had no success after so many years. He hadn't forgotten a moment of the night he was murdered. There had been so much blood. A brutal stab from behind had gone through one of his lungs, and he had seen the tip of the blade burst through his chest. And then the killer took his eyes.

That hatred for the one who murdered him had kept Zane tied to the mortal plane, and unless he found peace, he was trapped.

He kept his head down as he shuffled his way over to the bar and took a seat at the end of it, where he'd hopefully be unnoticed. He could just stay here for a while, and perhaps absorb some more energy without anyone seeing his eyes and panicking.

Oh, hey. I'm Richard Lawrence.

This nightclub, despite its poor cliental and reputation, was among Richard's regular hang outs. Their drinks were good and affordable, and he would always be able to take care of himself. After all, there was little that surprised a mind reader, and he had long since accepted the ability for what it was, which he would say was extremely useful. There used to be guilt associated with his ability, but after attending the island's school for so long, he grew accustomed to the idea that they were all simply different; what good would guilt do?

Currently, he rested on a stool, having just bid farewell to his best friend for the evening. While usually they would return to the dorms together, he had had a much tougher day, and felt that a few extra shots would go a long way in clearing his mind. Being telepathic was a good ability, but it made it very hard to unwind after a day's work and a particulary nasty break up. For now, he would drink.

For several minutes, he idly shifted theough the many thoughts around him, giving no person any specific interest. There didn't seem to be any intentions of trouble, which he was pleased for...except perhaps one. There was a creature only a few paces away, and his entire aura felt tense. Richard wouldn't worry, not in this place, but he hated feeling other's emotions in such close proximity. That double with alcohol, and his head would sure gain a pounding. Spinning around to face who he assumed to be a man, he opened his mouth to speak. "Seems like you could use a drink."

Zane nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard a male voice address him. He lowered his head even more, hoping whoever it was didn't notice the bloodstains on his chest. He'd tried changing his shirt to hide the wounds, but they somehow always bled through. The bandages he wore helped, but not by much. At least he never dripped blood anywhere. That would really freak people out.

Zane extended his senses toward the presence that had spoken. It felt different than most others he'd felt. There was some kind of strength he didn't quite know how to describe. The light of the person flickered with a amber color, and it faded to brown at the edges.

The ghost's shoulders hunched as he tried to draw into himself. He opened his mouth to speak, closed it, cleared his throat, and tried again. "Ah, I-I don't really drink." He fidgeted and tightened his grip on the flute in his hand. He wasn't used to talking with people. His life for the past several years had consisted of playing his music, wandering around, and thinking about the life he no longer had. That said, he had no right to be rude to a stranger.

"But for you to notice someone who could use a drink, methinks you might go for one yourself..." He mentally slapped himself for sounding like an idiot. People usually went to places like this for drinks. Why else would the stranger be there?

When the stranger didn't reply, Zane almost slapped himself for real this time. He awkwardly cleared his throat, and turned away. The ghost had absorbed enough residual energy from the club that he would be able to sustain himself for a while, but he still debated leaving.

Where could he go? He had no home, no friends, and no family. Just the music, and the hunt for his killer--a killer who might not even be alive by now.

"Well, uh, nice... chatting. With you." He stood and shoved his hands in his pockets. "I'm going now... Have a nice night. Be safe." Zane started to walk away, and gracefully walked into the wall adjacent to the open door.

"Ow." He took a step back, walked outside, and tripped over an uneven spot in the concrete. "Ow." The ghost huffed and walked a little more carefully this time, still keeping his head down.
