Michiko and Keiko set up a little Easter egg hunt for all the Maneki Neko kitten spirits. Though kittens can climb things quite well, they found a golden egg they can't get to and it's quite out of your own reach as well! The egg requires a team effort to reach, so how do the two of you go about trying to reach this special egg?

RP Prompt Used: 1
RP Response: The sound of a kitten mewl drew Jennifer out of her dozing. Murmuring, the college student slowly opened her eyes and as her brain kicked back into a conciseness state, she became aware of a tiny nose and large, green, moon like eyes directly in front of her face.
"WHOA!" Jenn fell backwards in her chair, landing with a large thud on the floor of her dorm room. The kitten on the desk meowed again and smiled as though her reaction was amusing to it. Jenn scrambled back onto her feet and ran her hand through her hair. "Ok brain..." she said aloud to test if she was still dreaming, "I get it, I get it. More sleep, more eat, less books. I totally get it. You can stop with the delusions anytime now. I will even go to dinner now just to make you happy." Jennifer grabbed her keys which had her dorm room key and her student ID holder on it and dropped the lanyard around her neck. Opening her door, she looked back and the kitten had vanished. She exhaled in relief, shutting her dorm door and locking it. Just the idea of her going to eat had clearly made something in her brain happy and the delusion was gone like that.
"Mew.." came a voice at her feet.
Jennifer's back hit the wall on the other side of the hall in a moment, and she sank onto her knees. The kitten padded up to her and hopped into her lap, sitting neatly, tail wrapped around it's ankles and mewled again. Her heart skipped a beat as she could feel the weight and warmth of the critter on her lap. It wasn't a delusion, the creature was REAL. Her hand shaking badly, she reached down and patted the kitten on the head gently, rubbing her fingers over it's ears. The kitten purring in response, rubbed it's head against her hand. "How did you get into my room little one.." she said softly, continuing to pet the kitten. It's only response was to chirp happily. Jennifer laughed and then frowned. If she got caught with a pet in her room, she'd get in trouble and the kitten would be sent away. She needed to figure out what to do here.
As though written in a book, at that moment the familiar click of the dorm floor advisor's heels filled the hall. She was coming in from the elevators. Jenn's body filled with panic. "Shoot..shoot shoot I can't let her see the kitten or I'm going to catch hell" she thought in alarm. The kitten on her lap nodded, clicked it's front paws together as if in attention, jumped off her lap, padding across the hall and vanishing through the heavy door of her dorm room like a ghost.
Like.
A.
Ghost.
Jenn's blood froze and her heart now thudded in her chest in fright. What in the nine hells was going on here?

RP Response: "Mew?" It the only thing that I could actually say. My owner had bought me from one of those Maneki Neko stores where my hard paws would always become tired because she would always tap on it. Every time she did though, my arm would begin an ache that I can never describe. Well, that's over. I'm a kitten now!
With the bright rays of the sun gleaming down on me, I remember seeing the elders laying down on something that they call 'grass'. "Mew?" I go looking at my owner. She looks down at me and ugghhh..., begins her annoying high pitched song. She calls me words like 'awwdooruhhbull' and 'quewwwttah' which annoys me. Why not use real words? The name she's given me is worse though.
Eventually walking away from her, I see a fly on a leaf. With eagerness, I pounce on it. "EWWIEES! MOMMIEEE CUPCAKE ATE A FWYYY!" she screams stroking my throat roughly. I hiss with hatred. She's trying to kill me!

You're the owner of a Maneki Neko figurine, and it's spirit just formed into a kitten! How do you react? What's the first thing you do with your new companion?
RP Response: Anna Akana was behind the counter of the bakery that her family owned. Anna usually worked by herself because she frustrated her parents too much. They were always so hung up on tradition and doing things a certain way. She thought they were too uptight. She liked to experiment with new products while they weren't around to bother her. Business was good lately. She had been given a Maneki Neko figurine from her grandma to bring good luck to the shop. Maybe that was the reason why.
It was just about time to open up shop. She carefully placed the last of the pastries in the display and then flipped the 'open' sign after unlocking the front door. She turned around and shrieked. Right next to her figurine was a somewhat formed kitten. Somewhat formed because it's tail and back legs were not there even though it was standing, looking at her. “Okay Anna, what is going on?” She had noticed a weird aura around the figurine lately out of the corner of her eye but didn't think anything of it, till now.
“Breathe Anna, you can't faint with the shop open.” She gulped before stepping cautiously toward the kitten as it mewed at her. It was kind of cute even if she couldn't see all of it. Very slowly, she reached her hand out to touch it's head. It was real. Even stranger was the feeling of happiness she felt from the kitten. “Strange day can't get any stranger,” she told herself. There was no denying that what she was seeing was indeed real.
After awhile of petting the little thing, her fear turned to wonder and joy. Her parents were not going to like this. Too bad, there was no way she'd get rid of the figurine or the kitten. “I'll keep you little one. How about a name?” She looked at the figurine and the little thing before her. “How about Mini?” The kitten mewed in agreement and Anna could not resist smiling.
(Just a note: This is assuming it's the girl figurine.)

RP Response: It was a rather chilly day and after several days in a row of beautiful sun and warmth, it was dull and depressing. The sound of rain coming down on the roof a lullaby for the sleepy. Near the door to her home sat a beautiful figurine of a cat with a raised paw. She was told it was called a "maneki neko", The Beckoning Cat and that it brought good luck. And after last year's seasons, she was going to need it if she was going to get anything out of her crops.
Three days soon passed and the sun was still shrouded in gloomy gray clouds. A breeze had picked up slightly and it rained on and off. By now she had cleaned and scrubbed every inch of the house. It was nice to be in a clean home, but she was itching to sink her fingers in warm soil and work with her plants. "Please, don't let this be a repeat year," she moaned as the clouds suddenly ripped opened and poured their bounty out upon the land.
Her eyes closed and she fell back on the couch, her head tilted back. She then heard a chime, akin to a small bell. Tilting her head, she stilled and heard it again. She sat up and looked around. She didn't own any wind chimes or bells but a movement caught her eye and she looked over by the door. A small shadow moved and suddenly she felt unnerved. There was something in the house. A pair of eyes glowed from under a nearby chair and then their came a small "mew". A small kitten came out of hiding and sat at her feet. It's eyes where huge as it mewed again and pawed at her foot.
That was it, her heart melted as she picked the little creature up and snuggled it. And then realizing it resembled her figuring. "What the...." she looked at the kitten and her eyes widened, "Well that isn't something you see everyday......"
