Some people found travel a hassle and a half. Even leaving out the issue of transportation, there was still the matter of packing, making arrangements, and being in strange places, all of which tended to pile on stress. Bardhyl loved it. He didn't have a ton of possessions, so packing was never really a problem. Making arrangements involved talking to people, which was a definite bonus. And he'd been to most popular destinations already, so he rarely felt too out of place upon his arrival, and he'd had experience aplenty adapting to new places. Bardhyl was a seasoned traveler, and he knew it, which added to his enjoyment.
The destination rarely mattered, but this time he had set out with a certain objective in mind: Lumena Castle Town. Now that he was a fully-fledged Ars Lilium, he had to start making his next steps. He'd been enjoying the glory of reaching his goal for a few weeks, going around to his favorite spots to spread the word that he, Bardhyl Idrizi, had officially joined the ranks of the elite. It had taken a lot of work to make it to that level, and he'd been due a vacation, which he enjoyed greatly. But the longer he relaxed, the more tense he got. He hadn't gotten to where he was by snoozing, and he wasn't ready to stop his advancement there. It was time to decide where to go next, and to do that, Lumena was his best bet.
Rezart floated next to Bardhyl, looking dim and washed out in the sunlight. Bardhyl looked at his familiar and sighed. "No, it's not you. Just itchy to get moving, I suppose," he murmured. Rezart brightened slightly, then floated off of the path they were travelling on, over to a large tree. In the shade the tree provided, the star looked much brighter and more solid, Bardhyl noticed, even though nothing had really changed. Funny, how setting could have such an impact on perception.
"Yes, point taken. Let's take a break." The tree did look awfully inviting, with a trunk wide enough to lean against comfortably. Bardhyl pulled a large handkerchief out of his sleeve and laid it carefully on the ground before sitting; there was no reason to make a mess of himself just because he was tired. Rezart dipped down, landing on Bardhyl's shoulder, and the two of them relaxed, letting the cool shade and fresh air work wonders on the weary travelers.

Kalypso loved going to the woods and climbing the trees there. Not only did she fell safe but she also felt one with nature. Way up in the trees where no one can see her she could see and spot anyone and anything. Today she thought she would practice her violin and hopefully practice her magic. She was still disappointed in herself for not passion the Grave of Fairies. She hoped to pass it the next time it came around.
Kalypso had found a nice big tree to climb and was way up high stretching out on the highest tree limb. She rested her violin beside her on the tree limb and sighed. The weather was so perfect not too cold and not too cold. Hearing some noise below her she looked down. “Oh a Ars Ilium” The path of a Ars Ilium was what she was seeking. She loved everything about them from their sense of duty to their love to help humans and majins alike.
made her way down the tree without making a sound and stop high enough to listen and watch the Ars. Ilium more closely. She got excited when she saw that he had a familiar. She was always so fancinated with them and couldn’t wait to bond with one of her own. “Oh how cute.” She didn’t know why she did it but she found herself reaching out to touch the star familiar.

The shade and fresh air worked wonders on Bardhyl, and he closed his eyes to better relax. So he didn't see someone up in the tree. He didn't see when that person decided to come down and get a better look. But Rezart did, especially when it seemed that the person wanted a closer look. The star floated away, then up, doing whatever they had to do to stay tantalizingly out of reach.
When Bardhyl felt Rezart retreating, he opened one eye. It seemed that he should have looked more carefully when choosing a spot to stop. Not that he minded company- far from it- but it wasn't usually restful, and he had no idea if he was interrupting something. People tended to be less fun when they felt like he was intruding. Not that he would move for such a trivial reason, but it was good to make note of the situation.
He opened his other eye, but didn't say anything yet. Rezart was playing, and he didn't want to interrupt just yet.

Kalypso was so enthralled with the familiar. She waited for the familiar to get a little closer to her before she attempted to touch it. “I hope you don’t bite or anything.” She whispered to the familiar so she wouldn’t accidently wake up its owner. “You’re so cute.” She stretched out her hand and tried to touch the familiar but it just seemed so far out of reach.
“I don’t bite….. Do you?” Maybe this wasn’t a good idea. Some Ars Ilium didn’t like it when someone just started touching their familiar for no reason. Add to the fact that some familiars didn’t like to be touch and you have a big problem. Kalypso usually didn’t do these kinds of stuff. She would usually just keep to herself and stay up in the tree until the Ars. Ilium was finished napping and had left. But she really for some reason felt drawn to this familiar. And it couldn’t hurt that it was so darn cute.
“Hi little fellow.” She started to think of how to coax him to come a little closer to her. “Twinkle Twinkle little star..” She started to sing to it in hopes that her voice will lure it closer to her. While doing this she looked down to check on it’s owner to see him staring up at her with both of his eyes open. She didn’t know what to do. She started to wave her arms around. “You are dreaming, Umm This is not real this is just a dream. I am a figment of your imagination.”

Rezart turned pink at their edges, their way of expressing amusement. They liked this game of chase, especially since it was so easy for them to evade capture. Not that they would have minded too much if they were caught by this girl, who seemed harmless and more curious than anything else. Rezart was also curious, about people other than their bond, and they studied Kalypso while they swooped and fluttered and stayed out of reach.
As he watched Rezart's antics, Bardhyl had to bite his tongue to keep from laughing. This was an unexpected turn of events. He was also curious about this inquisitive witchling, but he kept his mouth shut and waited for a better time to speak up. He didn't want to scare her away, not when they were having such a good time playing.
When she began to sing, he put his hand back in his lap and listened with pleasure. He hadn't expected a free concert in the bargain. And so, when the girl finally noticed him watching her, Bardhyl tossed his sleeves back and applauded. "That was lovely, quite lovely."
Was he scaring her anyway? That wouldn't do. And her assertions that she was imaginary bothered Bardhyl; he'd been known to create people to talk to before. He looked to Rezart, who seemed to confirm that the witchling was real, and relaxed slightly. "I assure you, the figments of my imagination don't sing like that. And I furthermore assure you that I mean you no harm, nor am I upset in any way. On the contrary, I appreciate the entertainment." Both her game with Rezart and her singing, but he tried to phrase it to emphasize the latter.
