The Observation Point

General Setting:
The Observation Point is the highest point of the entire Clan structures, seated at the very tip of the highest tree. The climb up is precarious, and can only be managed for the flightless on a single, swaying ladder. Even then, the flight up is covered in thick and dangerously sharp branches, spears, and other weapons, just to emphasize facing the obstacles. In fact, it is so difficult to make it up, that one climbing must be aware of all obstacles, and overcome them before reaching the top.

OOC: EVENT ROLLS AND PROMPT MECHANICS:

- When your student has arrived in this setting, you can CHOOSE to roll a 100-sided dice at any point in time. They are NOT at the observation point top yet, they need to roll to get there. You can only do this twice per RP you make. Match your dice roll to the results below for a prompt/ small reaction that your student may discover. RP out results accordingly.

1-20: While climbing upwards with the ladder, as you do not want to brave the spears, you look down. The ground is so very far down. you begin to loose your nerve a bit, and remain stuck.
21 - 40: The ladder begins to sway and shake precariously, as suddenly a gust of wind billows to one side, causing anyone airborne to also grab a hold onto that ladder for dear life. You can practically see your life flashing before your eyes (again) as you almost get impaled by a sharp spear.
41 - 60: You finally manage to pass the first hurdle of spears, but nearly get pin-cushioned again as a barrage of arrows appear out of nowhere. Really now?
61 - 80: You see a lone clan member fly upwards towards the observation point, dodging all obstacles effortlessly. Sure, they make it look easy...
81- 100: You finally reach the top! At the very top, you can see a large group of War clan members filing out, heavily armed and equipped. They seem to be shouting loudly to each other as well, excitedly as they exit to the portal room. (see below for horsemen point prompt)
- Horsemen point prompt! You also see something glint next to you, but is it just a trick of the light? Roll a 6-sided dice. If odd you obtain one horsemen point! You can only redeem a max of two from all prompt prps/orps your student is in per OOC 24 hours. You can redeem these here and here!

Zurine had no idea what had compelled her to try and climb up this insane ladder to see the highest point on the island - except perhaps thinking that the view from on top might be worth the effort. Of course when she spotted one of the clan members effortlessly flying while she sweated and grunted and tired herself out she had to sigh and wish for wings herself.

Well this was just getting ridiculous to be honest - here she'd been trying so hard to make it to the top, had managed to navigate the row of spears with a bit of effort and was suddenly nearly turned into a sieve when a bunch of arrows appeared. Was that entirely necessary? Zurine thought not.

Hrrrm . . . The Observation Point sounded like a good place to go up and take pictures from, as well as understand the surrounding area better. Hopefully. Maybe. Jack, he wasn't a big fan of nature . . .

"Hey, Zurine," Mort greeted, gazing up at the rickety ladder he would have to use, as well as its hazardous obstacles. "Hrrrm. Looks tough. But need good point for pictures..." Cracking his knuckles, the zomboil got to work climbing up.

It sorta reminded him of the foraging class from Famine, and that hadn't gone over too badly (even if he had gotten the fruit too early). Here it wasn't so bad either, though Mort had needles and more then a few cuts and scrapes on him by the time he reached the top. Leaning over the edge, he waved down to the ghoul. "Come on, try again! Could be in picture."

At the top, however, he was not alone. Clansmen were strapping on armor and shouting orders, hustling a small line of warrior-like people through a portal in the air. Mort watched from the sidelines, snapping a picture as subtly as he could. Was something going on? Mrrr . . .

Aksaja headed out of the dorms area and decided to try getting up to that highest point. Clan members were flying about up there . . . though there was a ladder too, apparently for them to use. The lightning dragon stretched his own wings out, contemplating. Then he decided, no. There was probably some point to the ladder, otherwise it wouldn't be there - they had to know that at least some of the Amityville students could fly too.

A test probably. With a faint smirk, he started up the ladder, wings tucked in close. He wasn't even halfway up, though, before a huge gust of wind rocked the ladder from side to side. Aksaja bit back a yelp as his fingers closed tighter on the wood - actually forgetting for a moment that he could (maybe) simply fly free of the damn thing. Then a spear came out of nowhere and nearly went through him.

s**t. All right, yea, done with this for now. He'd have to come try again later, when the wind wasn't so bad.

It seemed like Mort was a far better climber then she was and she furrowed her brow slightly before looking up at him. "I'm trying" She told him with determination..when a second barrage of arrows were suddenly flung in her direction. "Do they really need to have sooo many hurdles to get there?!?" She exclaimed after recovering from her duck to avoid getting stabbed multiple times.

And just when she thought she might actually be making some progress a gust of wind made her cling for her life and rethink her desire to reach the top. Was it really that important? Did she really want to see the view that badly? These thoughts were only strengthened when the spear flashed by entirely to close for her comfort.

The gust of wind just didn't seem like it was going to calm down anytime soon and Zurine gave a little squeak as she came close to that spear again.

Alright the wind had finally died down but as she made her way up the ladder she made the mistake of looking down. Oh Jack...she was really high..far to high for comfort really and Zurine once more began to wonder if she really wanted to keep trying to make it to the top or not.
