He's soooooooooooooooooooooo gorgeous and I had such a hard time choosing between him and this white and neon blue betta. But I have been searching for a color like this for sooooooooolonggg. God I wish bettas didn't kill each other... Anyway. Here he is. Camera doesn't even do him justice. Neither do my lights really, I need some better lights....

In better more natural lighting he's like a neon color

The fish that ate my last betta has now been moved to a type of 'I don't take no s**t' tank with a large but not really an aggressive fish.
So I'm betting he'll do a little better in this tank. He even went and tried to eat the first minute he got in the tank so he seems healthy

well he did spit it back out but I think it was too big for him. Either way, he still wanted to eat. I was a little worried because I kind of just had to throw him in there. We didn't really have time to do a bunch of aclimation but like I said he went right after some food. There had been an uneaten bloodworm in the tank and it got jostled to the top, and he went right for it

Did you bring a sample of your water to the store to make sure there's nothing wrong? I notice you didn't wait to quarantine your current or new fish. I realize it's not always possible, but trust me, I've learned the hard way. Keep a sharp eye on everyone for any signs of sickness.
