Updates/edits: April 29, 2012 (added magic section)Hello, welcome to Gen's room! Or not so welcome if that so happens to be the case. Either way, the room will still look the same ~
Here you will find Gen's simple living quarters - a relatively bare room that has changed little from the state he found it in. Things of note are the dresser and a currently unused closet at one side of the room, the futon at the other, and the windows, which act as the only source of light. There are no places to sit except for the floor. Forgive him for his lack of guest-friendly furniture. He has a tendency to live with only the bare essentials. One day, though, he would like to have a little table and a kotatsu for it.
North wall (wall when looking forward from the entrance)
▆ • This wall holds two windows that are covered by dark red curtains.
These curtains are usually open during the entirety of the day until it gets
dark out. Of course, they are closed if he happens to be taking a nap, or if
he finds some other reason to close them.
East wall (wall when looking right from the entrance)
▆ • This is where Gen's futon is. It is found at the corner where the east
wall joins the north wall. When sleeping, Gen's wooden sword can be found
next to the futon.
West wall (wall when looking left from the entrance)
▆ • This side is where the closet and dresser are seen. The closet is at
the side closest to the north wall. In the middle of the west wall, the dresser
has been placed. In it, there are various robes and such to change into. One
drawer holds extra blankets should he ever need them. Somehwere buried in
all the cloth, there's a little notebook with the people he feels indebted to and
why he feels that way.
South wall
▆ • This is where the entrance is. As of yet, there is nothing else here.

▆ • The Land of Departure: I still have no idea how I ended up here.. This
place - the "Land of Departure" - what exactly allows one to come here? I'm
not sure how I'm supposed to repay a debt to an entire world.. But this place
is the home of Protega, so if I think a certain way it's almost like Protega
saved me. I guess..? I suppose whatever Protega's goal is I'll fight for it, too.
It's only fair, seeing as how I'm still alive because of this place, that I fight for
them to the point of death. ..But what happens if I somehow become
indebted to their enemy, the Guild? What'll I do then? I can't just leave the
place that gave me a second chance when I damn well know I don't deserve
it. I guess I'll just have to see what happens..

That would have saved so much time and spared him from having to go through the twists and turns of this unfamiliar place. By some miracle or other such thing, though, he had found a section that seemed to be for residential purposes. He found a spot that seemed vacant and opened the door, hoping it was all right to just claim the room like that. If he had done something wrong, he would just have to leave, but that worry could come later. Right now, he needed sleep. The feeling of dizziness had become stronger, and he was beginning to feel a bit warm. This was odd.. He didn't get sick often, or so he though. "Seems it was a fever after all," he said to himself. Quickly, he inspected the room and went to the closet. In it, he found a clean futon and some blankets. These he took out and threw them to one side of the room. Sluggishly, he shut the curtains to the windows and crawled beneath the blankets. Much better to sleep it off than to take medicine.. And those were his last thoughts as he drifted off to sleep.

 Rufio Bon Herenheim "Memories are the key. I need to know..." ▀▄▀▄ ▀▄▀▄ ★ ▀▄▀▄ ▀▄▀▄ Loud knocking could be heard at Gen's door. Moments later, a violet-haired man forced the door open and stepped inside. Glancing around the room, he looked over at the new arrival and stepped over to him. Reaching out his hands, he began to shake the young man. "Wake up Gen. I'd like to set out for our mission. I'm not leaving your room until you're awake and ready to go. So hurry it up. I don't like to wait." Stepping back from the bed, Rufio leaned back against the wall and just stared at Gen, waiting for him to get up and move. ▀▄▀▄ ▀▄▀▄ ★ ▀▄▀▄ ▀▄▀▄ Quote: Stone Golem Armor:Great increase to defense! But the moment Rufio began shaking him, Gen's eyes snapped open. He ungracefully rolled out from under his blanket, grabbing his bokken as he did so. The maneuver wasn't completely successful, and the blanket ended up partially covering his head. What the - ? he first thought, wondering why he was in an unfamiliar room. Gen looked around him completely dazed and confused. It took him a few moments to remember what had happened the previous day. Right, that Keyblade stuff.. He slid the blanket off of him and finally noticed Rufio staring at him. That part made him jump. He hadn't noticed him at all, even though Rufio had been the one shaking him! And that would have been the first time I died today. Even if he was tired, he had to remember to never let his guard down. Gen stood and hurried to get ready. Once ready, he stood next to the doorway and waited to follow Rufio.

Take this sheet of paper and go over the details of the mission. It's a B-rank mission. We're off to deal with more Heartless, this time on Destiny Islands. If you have any questions, Kaleido, that's the other guy going with us, or myself could probably help you out. Though just keep in mind: Kaleido's shy and I don't really talk that much. Except for now, oddly enough." With a shrug, he pat Gen on the shoulder and left his room. Turning around, he smiled softly for a moment. "Go wait in the Forecourt somewhere. I'll get Kaleido and we can meet up there." ▀▄▀▄ ▀▄▀▄ ★ ▀▄▀▄ ▀▄▀▄ Quote: Stone Golem Armor:Great increase to defense! Invulnerable to piercing blows to the chest. So he was to go to the Forecourt - simple enough directive. He stepped out of his room and looked left and right. No one else was around, and he began to walk to his destination. One problem though: where was the Forecourt? Gen held his head in frustration. He should have asked Rufio how to get there before he left! Now he was going to get lost again and hold everyone up. What a horrible way to start the first full day with Protega..
