So, I decided to make the first Mini-Challenge a "hybrid" of sorts. All of us have moments in our lives that change us, times that move us, things that we remember. The hybrid challenge is to use the 12 months and the 12 colors below as they relate to each other. Write about a memory you have from the month that moves you (any year, doesn't have to be this one) and choose a color to pair with it (it has to be apparent without you saying which color it is). Do this for all 12 months and colors, not using any color or month more than once.

a. Red
b. Orange
c. Yellow
d. Green
e. Blue
f. Indigo
g. Violet
h. Brown
i. Black
j.Gray
k. White
l. Rainbow
The months:
1. January
2. February
3. March
4. April
5. May
6. June
7. July
8. August
9. September
10. October
11. November
12. December

I'm going to try this. It's too late to do it every day (and why would you want to?) but I'll commit to do it at least once a month. So for April, I've still got half the month to go for red. Should be easy, as I've been writing mostly about my characters for the time being, and they're vampires (well, some of them...) Plus, I have succeeded in this before.

I think once a month sounds like a reasonable way to do it. I can't wait to read what you end up writing. Do you already have an association of colour and month? Just curious, really understandable if you don't yet. It'll take me time to think about what that month really means to me.

This is a great challenge, it's already got my head swimming with ideas. I've been meaning to create a zodiac in my story so this accomplishes 2 things at once 3nodding
