Little Rahim bounced and nipped, tugged and tumbled with his siblings and friends. He laughed in the face of the noon day sun with his opaque eyes taking in the scenary around him. For the little Pesar, the world was a joyous place full of love as far as the eye could see. Everyday was a new adventure just waiting to be explored, and today he was going to see his grandfather!
He just had to wait for him to get there. Rahim bounced to the edge of the den to wait, but was eventually pulled inside by his siblings. Every few moments or so he would come running back to the edge, only to tricked into going back inside.

Achal smiled as he headed for Namir's den. Today he was going to spend time with his grandson and he was rather excited. He family was growing nicely and he had grandcubs and great grandcubs and it was sometimes all very overwhelming to walk about and suddenly see a part himself prance by. He laughed himself silly a few times after he had arrived back in the pride to see his markings around the lake.
Achal shook himself from his thoughts as he approached the den. "Rahim," he called out not seeing the cub, but knowing he had to be close. "You ready to go, have to check out the borders today before we get on with the day."

Oh no! His grandfather was already here, and he wasn't even ready! With a little meowling growl, he disentangled himself from his siblings to make a break for the mouth of the den, but not before pausing to stick his tongue out at them first. Take that for making me late! he thought.
"Here! I'm here, here, right here, right hhheeeree." The little Pesar was practically in a panic as he ran up to the older Pad. However, even in that panic, his eyes were as large as the moon and just as excited. "Really? I've never been to the border before!" Rahim just knew today was going to be awesome!

Achal stopped waiting for Rahim as the little cub called out his presence. He chuckled lightly watching his excited grandson race over to him. "Hello there," he greeted with a grin and nodded at Rahim's question.
"We will head over to the borders to check and make sure there are no problem, which there rarely are and we may even see a few prey beasts. Maybe we will make a meal of them." Achal winked at his grandson and turned.
"I will bring him back later Fahara," he called over his shoulder before looking to Rahim, "well lets head out then, border's not really that close to here."

Oh gosh. Oh gosh. Oh gosh! His siblings would never believe him if he said he succeeded in a hunt. What would they think if he brought home a prey beast?! What would his father say? Would he be proud? Rahim could only gape up at his grandfather as the excitement practically oozed out of him. Achal was just too cool!
Rahim turned to wave enthusiastically before bouncing off after the larger male. His opaque eyes took in everything about him; the way he walked, how he held his head, the way his mane shifted with his movements. Rahim stood a little straighter when he walked, making sure to hold his head as high as possible. "Do you go to the border alot, Grandfather Achal?"
