I don't know what to do.. I like this one guy and his name is Craig.. I am afraid to tell him how I feel. I have been his friend for a while, and I am scared telling him I like him. I have writtin him countless notes and I am too scared to give them to him. I am afraid it will ruin our friendship. I like him.. ALOT. How should I tell him, Should I write him a note? Or a poem? What to do, what to do... Any advice? Am I just being a chicken? Please help me! Edit:okies.. I have written a poem.. And I was wondering if like.. I should give it to him instead/with/ or not at all with a note... Or what? here goes:
Boy Friend B- Is for the Beauty within... Not always outside O- is for OMG! Like "OMG he is actually talking to me" Y- Is for the Yearning that I have to tell you I like you.
F- is for Friend, In which you are mine, And hopefully will forever be R- is for Real, this love is for Real I- is for Interesting, In which you are E- is for how Easy it is to get you to laugh N- Is for how nice you are, when you pick up my pencil D- Is for the Dire need for you to understand my feelings for you.
I have spelt "Boy Friend" because I hope you'll be mine when I give this to you. Edit: Okay, It didnt work out as planned, or hoped.. It turns out he likes me, but not as much for me to be his gf...

You're not being chicken, its difficult to tell someone you like them. I think its usually best to tell someone this in person, but if you don't think you can do that, a note is perfectly good, as well. As for your fear of ruining the friendship, ask yourself if its worth taking the chance.

I agree. I know you're nervous, but just think about your feelings and express it to Craig. Psyche yourself out. He might like you too, and if not, it's pretty flattering to find out someone likes you, and there's a chance it won't ruin anything, it might even make it better.

I'd say go for it. It's not really recommended but if you think it'll be easier for you to confess online, then maybe it's an alternate you should take into consideration.

I think you should tell him. I don't think you'll ruin your friendship or anything by telling him. I think though it is the hardest thing to do, that you should tell him in person. It's much more personal that way. If you're really too nervous to do that though, then I suggest telling him on msn or something like that.

Being nervous is natural as well as fearing rejection. Try not to sweat it though. As the others have said, it is often better to tell the person face to face how you feel. However, that can be truly difficult. So this poem you wrote, it is rather sweet and should suit nicely.
The worst that could happen is he will just want to remain friends and if that is the case, be the best friend you can be and let things run their natural course.

As sweet as the poem is, I don't know if it will help you any. I do know that when a girl confessed to liking me and immediately suggested we dat, it intimidated me and I withdrew. Maybe I'm just weird though.
