Bio: Leaning towards a little on the dark side of society, Izaya became an top-class underground informant through his intelligence, social and hacking skills at the young age of 16. Although he is already "working", he still presumes the identity of a student as he felt that it was convenient cover for him as no one in the underground society would think that the informant "Dark" was still a high-school student.
He initially planned to leave the underground and strike it out on his own as a lead guitarist in a band called "Z-Gen" that consisted of some of his friends and himself after finishing college, but life just doesn't go the way you want it sometimes. On his third and last year of high school, he made two fatal mistakes. The first was brushing off one of his female classmates when she confessed in a rather blunt manner, as they were not really close and he thought that she was joking. The second was his over-confidence in his information network. He had not realized that he had offended the daughter of the boss of a well-known gang in the district, and the next day he found himself mugged on the way home and thrown into the river while unconscious.
When he next awoke, he found himself at Scramble's crossing, wondering what happened.
