Oh dear God. I think my AIM might have gotten hacked, unless you guys experienced this in Meebo too.
It suddenly disconnects me. I try and reconnect and I never re-connect.
So then, I go to re-log entirely, right? I type in my username and password. They're both correct, but it says they're incorrect. I repeat many times (without capslock mind you), and it eventually "locks me out".
I wait, and then I go to change password. I make up a brand new password that is nothing like my old one, and I go "Okay, maybe I can log in".
Nope.
"Incorrect username or password" again. I was able to get into email but...
It won't log me on-
Meebo
AIM Express
Or the AIM mail IM'er.
Have I been hacked, or is this the IM crashing?
I'd feel very dumb to go "Oh noez, haxxors" when it's not!
... Just what I need.
I'm going to have my lunch now, since I cannot communicate with you guys.
Sorry! It will have to wait for later. (There is not much to wait for anyway...)

Happened to me at least 3 times on AIM without reason.

Like Oujay said, maybe you should wait a bit before trying to log in.
In fact, I sometimes get that same experience whenever I tried to log into Gaia. I will get invalid messages, try it two or three times to get the same messages, and sometimes I get a bad feeling that I may have been hacked. However, I either refresh the page and type in my username and password slowly and carefully before I am able to lock in.
I heard that Gaia is having some technical difficulties with Meebo in the dev notice. I dunno if Meebo is having technical difficulties or not.

Meebo was actually having technically difficulties for the past few days. It looks like it's been mostly fixed now though. So if these issues happened within the past 72 hours it may have just been Meebo glitching out.
But yeah, like everyone and their guild mothers have been saying, wait a bit before trying again.

Oh, thank goodness it's only a messenger issue. I would hate it if I actually got hacked...
I guess it wouldn't make sense if I could log into my AIM mail if I were hacked, right? -facepalm-
Sorry for wasting topic space with this. Move along...
(And now I'll proceed to Google "How to Prevent Hacking...")
