I will play 40k forever ! People have tried to get me out of it, I only drew them into it. People have tried to tell me Fantasy is a better game, More organized. I told them I'm at home among the chaotic battle fields and besides I'll take Lascannons and Land Raiders over bows and arrows any day. They would continue to say that "No one has cannon ball to the face resistance." I would counter with That's if you have a cannon to shoot with by the time I'm done with you. Try they may but in the words of Librarian Isador from Dawn Of War "I shall never tire." Tell those Non players not to knock it until they try it. wink

with tau, watch anime (hey games workshop openly admit they was brought out to cash in on the anime craze!) - not nessicarily things like gundam or macross but generally anime. you may get some intersting ideas for those spare tau bitz...
or you could send them to me =3 i like tau but not enough to buy them (UK prices are a little too steep for my tastes... and a nasty taste was left by the statement when i started - "you'll be ok, we only recently raised our prices so your safe for another year or two" - in that year all the prices jumped up 3-4 times -.-)

Well the Dark eldar are good for spikes as well and their good for making interesting looking eldar, I have a dire avenger exarch with a dark eldar body, it looks really interesting, but it took a lot of work fitting the body on the legs, arms and head, I just said "ahh to hell with the backpack! I'll just put the flag on and say viola an exarch!" I made the gemstone with green stuff.

I had recently found in now passes as Wal marts craft department, a pack of tiny rhinestone/glass gems -- the ones you glue/iron on to hats and stuff. They are small enough to make any model seem awesome. The pack I picked up cost me around $15 but it has 500 gems in a variety of sizes and colors. Its a neat way to make the leaders of your army's look cool.
