Just a passing comment, if you're using MS Paint you might want to try out GraphicsGale, a program that has many, many nifty features Paint dosen't, but dosen't overwhelm or get in the way of simplistic styles, using pixels, as more complex programs might.

I like the first one and last the most. I try not to use my mouse anymore, it just takes too long sometimes and it makes your wrist ache like a b***h later. From what I've read, it really messes up your wrist.
Even though I got a tablet, sometimes I prefer using my mouse.

I feel like a bad artists because I like my stuff simple, but it's pretty far from innovative, you know? sad

It's basically impossible to be innovative anyhow, and it's less important than doing what you want to do. If you just keep doing stuff you think is cool (while still challenging yourself to become cooler) then you will win at art.

Your bodies in that last post are kinda weird and smashed, I guess I'd say? I think you do really great, stylish portrait shots, I'd be overjoyed to see you do a full body shot that's got that much panache.

Bodies have always been an odd thing as i've concentrated on portraits for the most part (not that it's done me any good). Only recently have I actually been allowing myself to experiment with posing and anything even closely resembling elementary dynamic posing. I've got a bunch of experimental stuff, but they're even worse than that faceless figure above. By smashed, i'm going to assume that you mean they have very abbreviated trunks. Yeah. As far as full body-shot panache. That's seems a little while coming. My anatomy is seriously bad at all times. I've made the mistake of concentrating on clean lines and pleasant appearance instead of making sure that what I draw is sound technically. lazy lazy lazy.

So, I just kinda go from there or ask people to pose or something. Other than that, I really hate anything other than something at-a-glance and i'm not quite sure why.

I think I can totally get into that sort of thing.

New Commission to Badeye and sketches...with a mouse? It's been a while since i've drawn with mouse, so I got off to a slow start this morning, I guess. Then my mind's eye kind of sputtered on or something... FYI, I tend to draw large mouths because my mouth is freaking huge. no lie.
