Eye Shape: Narrowed, often holding a cynical or fierce gaze.
Eye Color: Deep turquoise.
Hair Color: Pale, golden blonde.
Hair Style: A bit on the longer side, bangs flipping to the side and framing his face. Artistic freedom, as always!
Clothing: Ignore the references for the most part; in terms of general style, his clothing would resemble them somewhat, but I ask for something more refined and elegant than what is pictured. Not too frilly or lacy, something more suiting a man than a kid out of a Sailor Moon shop, lol. You can be fancy, of course! He's a prince, after all. Just not a girl.
Other Things: He's all HRRRR all the time, like he's constantly got something sour in his mouth. He just looks unpleasant.

Aspirations: To overcome his own physical shortcomings, most likely by dedicating himself to his magic studies, and eventually become a captain of the Cerberus Knights (if at all possible for someone of his position orz).
Personality:
[+] Passionate: having, compelled by, or ruled by intense emotion or strong feeling; fervid.
[+] Persistent: steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, a state, etc., esp. in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement.
If Yves let his insecurities slow him down, he would have been reduced to an immobile lump of feelings years ago. Yes, words hurt him, and yes, he lacks a good deal of self-confidence; however, Yves has a strong will and pushes on despite his harsh comments and habit of blocking others out. Life has taught him to stand on his own two feet, despite his pampered lifestyle. Yves is tough. He can be crippled by a punch and reduced to an emotional wreck if the wrong buttons are pushed, but he will always pick himself up. Sometimes, it just takes a little longer.
[+/-] Sincere: free of deceit, hypocrisy, or falseness; earnest.
Although his sincerity often gets him into trouble, Yves truly does mean well by it. He loathes the idea of stretching the truth for any reason, but if something is dire enough, he is able to realize the importance of keeping a secret, and thus can lie when needed. However, this goes against his moral code, and he would very much prefer not to have to do it very often. There are times when his honesty can come off as a flaw; for example, if he were to point out how foul someone smelled standing next to him, he wasn't trying to hurt their feelings, he just wanted to be helpful. While his frankness can come off as rude, it (usually) isn’t his intention to cause any sore feelings, and he really does feel remorse for it later. The boy’s just so awkward, he doesn’t know how to properly express himself to people who aren’t complete snobs, and so… his honesty is sometimes quite unwanted. All he knows is, he would certainly like to know when he has a black spot on his white shirt, or whether or not his hair looks positively ghastly that day.
Admittedly - and he is not proud of this whatsoever - there are times when Yves has allowed his emotions to get the better of him, and has "helpfully pointed out" certain traits or facts about others simply to piss them off. He is human, after all... and for him, words always seem to hurt more than anything else, so he figures it to be his best weapon against others.
[-] Haughty: disdainfully proud; snobbish; scornfully arrogant; supercilious.
Read: Self-defense mechanism. Yves' haughtiness stems from the need to cover for any sort of shortcomings he may have, and he throws his status around to do so. If one were to dig deeper and call him out on it, he would naturally become very defensive and flustered; being reminded and reprimanded for his flaws causes a great deal of distress for him, and he never knows quite how to react. However, Yves truly does take great pride in his family name, and does everything in his power to live up to it. He also does not falsify his own accomplishments to make himself sound bigger and better. He is a prince and he knows that to be a big deal to some people, so he flaunts it because it's the only thing (in his opinion) to be of true importance to anyone.
[-] Thin-skinned: sensitive to criticism, reproach, or rebuff; easily offended; touchy.
Yves will take every little negative comment or look personally. Not because he likes to get angry and overreact, but because he is so insecure about himself that a part of him is almost always willing to believe what it is others say about him. His insecurity stems from his own lack of health, having had difficulties dealing with asthma for a good portion of his life (it is much easier to deal with nowadays). He is ashamed of himself for being such a weak individual, and is aware that he isn’t easy to get along with. He’s also aware that he doesn’t have, and has never had, a lot of friends, so his comfort zone is typically restrained to his room. He feels especially insecure when thrust into new surroundings (and yes, he is always thrust into new surroundings; there is no gentle placing of this boy), and will generally arrive with his verbal fists flying (no doubt to counter all of the insults he is sure to receive – he can also be a bit pessimistic, if you haven’t noticed).

His style somewhat lacks in the offensive department. It goes without saying that his main focus is defense; however, Yves is capable of delivering magical attacks when required. His main method of attacking is to release 'bursts' of energy. The intensity of his attacks ranges depending on his amount of both physical and mental energy at the time, as well as his own abilities. He is fueled by his passion to succeed, so it can also be said that his own emotions affect his magic. When feeling particularly desperate or enraged, for example, he may be able to summon one powerful burst. The attempt would most definitely leave him exhausted, however; something like this would be used as a last resort, if at all.
Defensive:
The main focus of Yves' magical studies, as well as his innate ability. If there is one thing the kid can do, it's defense. Yves uses his astrological magic to bolster his own defense to the point of enveloping himself in it, effectively creating a 'barrier' of glowing, cosmic energy. The barrier sits upon his person comfortably and allows for free movement, as he places great importance on his own speed and size in battle (allowing him to dodge attacks with more ease).
Although Yves is more naturally gifted with this particular ability, that does not mean he's anywhere near mastering it. His shield is far from impenetrable; too many blows could shatter it, and with that would come consequences. He feels having the shield that sits snugly against his skin shattered. It hurts, sometimes it sends him into a dizzy spell for a couple seconds because of the shock. Therefore, he relies on dodging and quick thinking to avoid having his shield broken.
The durability and length of time he is allowed to have his barrier depends, again, on his physical and mental energy. If he is exhausted and weakened, or unable to focus, he will likely find himself without proper protection. Thus, he will be screwed.
Fighting Style:
Once Yves reaches the stage of Ars Lilium / Cerberus Knight, his weapon will be a lance. It will have been his familiar, a unicorn he summoned and developed a close bond with. Although he will have gained a weapon, his true strengths will forever lie in his magic usage; however, he will use the length of the lance to his advantage and adopt melee fighting, having been trained for it until that point with simpler weapons. He won't be a macho badass with his lance, but he will be quite capable with it once he has reached that stage of his life. The lance is very light to suit his needs, but holds formidable magical power within itself.
Weapon:
Yves' eventual weapon of choice is going to be a lance. It will resemble a medieval jousting lance, heavily inspired by this particular style. His familiar, Guenièvre, will take to the shape of a lance for him in battle until he reaches Cerberus Knight, where she will forever remain as such.
The design of his lance is up to Omie's interpretation; all I ask is that it resemble the theme of 'unicorn', since that is what it is derived from.
Familiar:
Yves' familiar is one that he is very close to, having developed a bond with her from a young age. Guenièvre was a gift from his parents when he passed the Grave of Fairies trial, and they have been quite inseparable since. She is an older unicorn, having been in the family for some time while Yves' parents awaited a son. She is wise and elegant, but also quite shy, and does not trust easily. When she does, she is a friend for life.
Guenièvre is free to roam as she pleases; because she is rather small for her breed, Yves does not ride her. She serves as a companion when he is lonely, both understanding her position in his future as he ascends through the ranks. Guenièvre takes her duty with solemn acceptance and just enjoys her companionship for the time being.
