But mostly just my real name, not like I don't like nicknames...
they just haven't really stuck.

⋆ Personality :: Well, that all depends on who you ask really... a lot of people would probably consider me a "mute". I suppose that’s not entirely too far off. But it’s a long story and hard to explain so I’ll spare you the details. Most of the time people see it as I'm stuck up or overly shy. Sometimes I am but most of the time I'm outgoing and love helping people. I'm more of a lover then a fighter... even though I'm kind of good at that too and will do what I need to so I can protect my family and keep myself alive. I have a slight confidence issue... the issue being I don't really have any. Most of the time I'm just looking for a way to survive and keep my family safe. To say my family means everything, would be an understatement. I can be blunt, since most of the time people can't communicate with me beyond a simple yes or no question; I tend to get away with saying whatever I want. Every so offend I meet someone who can sign and communicate with me and of course end up in trouble for my bluntness. But I'm really more on the happy and sweet side then angry and bitter. I know I'm a fun person; it's just kind of hard when you don't get the chance to show it due to a minor "vocal malfunction". I make the best of everyday I have... you never know when the reaping ball might fall in your "Favor".

⋆ History :: From the start my life was no picnic, though this won’t be a ‘poor poor pitiful me’ story. I got over feeling sorry for myself after my first reaping. Of course I wasn’t personally picked but others were and when you’re only four and you watch other older kids on a screen killing each other in tribute for the government… you learn to suck it up. Ever since I was brought into the world it’s been extremely difficult to make myself heard, so I stopped trying. I figured doing what others expected was easier then to fight for what I wanted when I had no voice. That statement held both a figurative and literal meaning. In the world no one had a voice that mattered, so I guess it’s better for me that I never got one. I’d always seemed to be the one in my family that would never amount to much, my older sister had always been the star child… in my father’s eyes at least. When my younger sister was born I couldn’t help but feel I’d only fade more.
Some part of me snapped and when I was old enough I dedicated myself to becoming a Career tribute. I’d always had something to prove… if not to myself then to everyone else… that I wasn’t just the sad mute kid. While I distanced myself from my father and sister I’d always been close to my mother, she’d been the one who taught me how to communicate with my hands –sign language. She taught everyone including my little sister from the time she was old enough and I guess that’s why I’m so protective of the little squirt. As far as others are concerned… I’m not all that concerned with looking for anyone. Feelings get you killed in this world and considering I’d rather not let my feelings known to anyone, let alone my family… I’d rather remain alone. At least that’s what I’ve convinced myself, and if now is any sign of the future… that goal doesn’t look too hard. I choose to focus on being prepared and doing what I can to protect my family… that’s all that matters.
⋆ Other :: Isn't all that close with his father or older sister though he would like to be. He leans on his mother for comfort when needed and as far as he's concerned he has to protect his younger sister from the games. That was the the only reason he became a career in the first place. He hasn't 'come out' to his family and has a hard time getting close to people. Mainly because of communictation Issues due to his lack of a actual voice. When he was born he was two months premature, while his body grew to be normal his vocal cords never developed properly. He communicate through the use of sign language or with the little notepad he carries at all times. ══════════════════════════════
