She Understood what her Mistress meant, and made the Zipped lip expression. She was worried she was gonna get punished, but Apparently she wasnt supposed to ask anything about them.

"Don't sweat it," Evi said. "I told you to poke around, and I can't get upset with you for following my instructions. I guess I'm still a little prickly from dealing with people I couldn't trust. Speaking of trust, would you mind taking first watch tonight? We'll be on a reef, so nothing is likely to happen, but since we're so far out, it's usually a good idea to keep a weather eye for pirates and the like. I like to turn in early and get up before dawn, so I'll relieve you around 3 am. Then you can sleep until noon or so. The shifts are long because there are only two of us, but I think we'll be fine. It just means that you'll be alone on deck most of the night. Are you alright with that?"

"It's only noon!" Evelyn cried, laughing. "You'll take first watch at sunset. Now come back down and finish your lunch!"
She chuckled to herself as she finished her own sandwich.
"It's good to know you're so eager," she said to Seinaru when she was on the deck again. "And yes, feel free to wake me for anything or ask me any questions. You are officially my first mate, now, so anything you need is yours."

((Congrats! I'm still looking for a new job.)) Evelyn collected the dirty dishes and took them down to the galley, leaving Seinaru at the helm. Evi checked the stash under the sink and made sure the secret panel's seam was smooth. Then she came back up to check on the fox girl. "So how are you holding up so far?" she inquired. "Not seasick yet?"

Evelyn nodded. Things were going so smoothly. She pulled a trashy novel from under the equipment console and curled up on the deck to read.
"Let me know when you get tired of steering," she called.
((Feel free to time skip to dinner time.))

((Ugh, Work is killing my Postings.)
Seinaru Kept the boat steady with ease, her Ears and eyes searching for anything that was out of the ordinary. She kept this up untill her Stomach finally growled again. It had just hit Sunset when she Sent down, the Thought had a Child like ring to it.

Evelyn closed her book and looked up. "We're almost to the reef. See the whitecaps off the port bow?" She pointed to the front and left of the boat. "If you put together something for dinner, I'll set anchor."
She took over the helm and adjusted the course towards the reef. With one hand, she adjusted the mainsail to dump some of the wind and slow their speed. They pulled up to the reef and Evi turned the boat into wind and stalled just at the right spot. She ran forward and dropped the sails so they wouldn't get blown off the reef. Then she set the anchor to keep them from drifting. Finally she set about stowing and covering all the sails and lines.
((believe me, I get it. xd ))

Seinaru scooted aside as her Mistress took the Helm. Her Hunger took her down the stairs, and to the Kitchen. Rummaging through what Evelyn had, She pulled out Cottage Cheese, Whip Cream, Marshmellows, Shredded Coconut, and some Pinapple Jello Mix. Grabbing the Largest Bowl she could find, she shrugged and Dumped all the ingredients into the bowl and mixed Smoothly.
after merely 10 minutes, she came up with the "Salad" she Made, in a Bowl just to see what her Owner thought. she asked, having stolen a Spoonful and Loved it.
(That Recipe actually Does Exist, and Omfg its so good >w< )

Evelyn arched an eyebrow at the mixture and hesitantly took a small spoonful. It actually was quite good, but it was like a cavity wrapped in a sugar coma in a bowl. She couldn't even remember why she'd bought all these ingredients. But then, coming from that hellhole Evi had found the girl in, she was probably excited just to have food and not overly concerned with its nutrition. It wouldn't hurt to have something like this for one night, sort as a "welcome home" specialty.
"Delicious," she declared with a glowing smile. "Just make sure you brush your teeth before tonight."

((I hear you! razz )) "Don't get used to this," she cautioned. "I'm cooking tomorrow night, which means couscous with roasted chicken and veggies. And maybe a little chocolate afterwards." Evi threw one arm around Seinaru's shoulders and gave her a side hug.

The sun set in a blaze of glory and deep twilight settled over the sea. After they finished dinner, Evi got up and stretched. "Well, I'm off to read a trashy romance novel until I fall asleep," she declared. "There's a clock just behind the wheel, so you can wake me up when it's time for my shift. Don't let me over sleep!" she warned. "I don't want you completely wiped out tomorrow. Oh, and if you hear splashing in the night, that's probably just migrating turtles. And if something bumps the boat, that's probably a shark investigating our metallic bits. Don't pay attention overmuch to voices in the wind--the winds down hear can carry words from 20 miles away. What you want to listen for are engine noises or electric static. Unnatural things. I don't think we have to worry about anything tonight since we're well out of the shipping lanes, but better safe than sorry. The Bonnet is in your hands, acting captain. Good night, Sein!"
