Depends on what you are good at, I guess. Are you talking specifically about SMoon fanfics?

Yeah, just SM (or crossover SM) fanfics. I think this section of the guild could use a little love ~ ≧ヮ≦

I have a small amount of my own SM related fanfics, but I'm keeping them with all my other stories. A friend gave me an empty guild, so now I use it for storage.

Depends on what you're writing & perhaps your style of writing.
I haven't writing a fanfic in a long while, but one thing I've tried to do was to stay true to the characters; if you're adding canon that is. Otherwise other people who read it just might not get what you're trying to portray or would dislike your story because they'll be like, "That's not what Sailor Mars would do!!" or something like that.
Lol, that's why in recent stories I've written, I just stick to my own characters with only the influence of Sailor Moon or Pokemon or whatever I'm writing about. If I have to add a canon character for any reason, I try to make it brief. That's just me though.
I've read other stories that turned out very lovely because people stayed true to the actual character's personality even if they did have Sailor Moon fall in love with someone else for some reason. Usually they also have a smooth transition or reason as to why she wasn't even with Darien in the first place or why she would have broken up with him (or never had met him, who knows..)
Honestly, I don't know. A story is a story in my opinion.
