Chakra/Stamina Gauge:

Each shinobi has a chakra gauge based on a percent system meaning that you all start with a 100%. Each jutsu used has a different toll on the shinobi meaning that for different ranking ninjas jutsu will costs different percents of their chakra. This chakra gauge is also accompanied by a stamina gauge for those shinobi inclined to the arts of taijutsu and will be affected in a similar way. The stamina costs are equivalent to shinobi whom have achieved the maximum stage possible for their rank in the taijutsu style. Therefore if a chuunin has only mastered the genin level stages of their style than the penalties for their taijutsu techniques will be as if they were a genin.
