PROMPT RPS: CREATING YOUR OWN ORP/ PRP

- Before you create your own ORP or PRP, you need to CHOOSE A SETTING.
- Select ONE of the prompts/settings provided in this thread below. This is where your student will be ICly for that RP. Prompts may change weekly, or even a new one to be discovered may be added randomly. Title your rp [ PROMPT LOCATION HERE ] [ORP OR PRP] - PLAYERS HERE. Now, when you walk around the location, you may discover things as according to the prompt. Follow the prompt rules, everything else is at your own pace.
- EXAMPLE: I choose "The Jade Pavilion" prompt as my setting. Now, I can create the prp/orp with whomever I talked to and put my students into the setting. Other characters can also arrive or walk with my student. Once we get there, at our own pace, we can begin rolling mechanics to "spot" while in that setting, as according to the prompt I read. You can roll as many times as the prompt gives you, rp it out accordingly. These rolls are "active events" that are happen in the setting that your student can ICly discover and puzzle out for themselves.
- There is a also plotting thread for your chars to meet up with each other HERE
- GMS may or may not be busy, but if you would like to have the CHANCE at a random GM encounter in your PRP/ ORP, mark your thread with a [!] so we know!
- Please do not MAKE more than 3 prps/orps (though you can join as many as invited) until you have finished them all (marked as FIN)

The Open Canopy

General setting: The open canopy is a series of simple wooden structures that may see at first, rather precarious, especially while climbing upwards. The structures themselves are actually rather sound and ironically, rather comfortable looking, similar in style to the dorm rooms, only much larger. Foliage and trees cover up a good portion of the view, but from the ground up, like all the other structures in the clan, the drop down would be rather far.

OOC: EVENT ROLLS AND PROMPT MECHANICS:

- When your student has arrived in this setting, you can CHOOSE to roll a 100-sided dice at any point in time. You can only do this twice per RP you make. Match your dice roll to the results below for a prompt/ small reaction that your student may discover. RP out results accordingly.

1-20: The area itself seems rather abandoned, though as you look a little past the area, you can see a few Clan members flying away, seemingly towards the portal exit. It looks like they're in a hurry, and heavily armed.
21 - 40: Black feathers are scattered all over the room. It looks like two clan members got into a fight here, judging from the heavy scratches on the ground, though what exactly happened? (see below for horsemen point prompt)
- Horsemen point prompt! You also see something glint next to you, but is it just a trick of the light? Roll a 6-sided dice. If odd you obtain one horsemen point! You can only redeem a max of two from all prompt prps/orps your student is in per OOC 24 hours. You can redeem these here and here!
41 - 60: You hear a strange shrieking noise, as you look out, you notice a series of bird-like minipets perched next to this place. They are staring at you keenly for some reason.... maybe they want food?
61 - 80: You notice a single painting in the room, featuring a rather bloody, but illustrative, depiction of several Clan members of war cutting off the heads of what look like humans.
81- 100: The small fireplace inset in stone seems to contain bits and pieces of burnt, charred notes. Only the edges remain, revealing - maybe some sort of map?

The Observation Point

General Setting:
The Observation Point is the highest point of the entire Clan structures, seated at the very tip of the highest tree. The climb up is precarious, and can only be managed for the flightless on a single, swaying ladder. Even then, the flight up is covered in thick and dangerously sharp branches, spears, and other weapons, just to emphasize facing the obstacles. In fact, it is so difficult to make it up, that one climbing must be aware of all obstacles, and overcome them before reaching the top.

OOC: EVENT ROLLS AND PROMPT MECHANICS:

- When your student has arrived in this setting, you can CHOOSE to roll a 100-sided dice at any point in time. They are NOT at the observation point top yet, they need to roll to get there. You can only do this twice per RP you make. Match your dice roll to the results below for a prompt/ small reaction that your student may discover. RP out results accordingly.

1-20: While climbing upwards with the ladder, as you do not want to brave the spears, you look down. The ground is so very far down. you begin to loose your nerve a bit, and remain stuck.
21 - 40: The ladder begins to sway and shake precariously, as suddenly a gust of wind billows to one side, causing anyone airborne to also grab a hold onto that ladder for dear life. You can practically see your life flashing before your eyes (again) as you almost get impaled by a sharp spear.
41 - 60: You finally manage to pass the first hurdle of spears, but nearly get pin-cushioned again as a barrage of arrows appear out of nowhere. Really now?
61 - 80: You see a lone clan member fly upwards towards the observation point, dodging all obstacles effortlessly. Sure, they make it look easy...
81- 100: You finally reach the top! At the very top, you can see a large group of War clan members filing out, heavily armed and equipped. They seem to be shouting loudly to each other as well, excitedly as they exit to the portal room.

The Open Obstacles

General Setting:

The open obstacles are located just a little away from the dormitory quarters. They span a fair chunk of the untamed portion of trees that populate the isle, littering the branches with nets, sharp spears, arrows, weapons, every single trap and surprise that you could possible think of. The goal of the obstacle is not to pass it as there seems to be no visible beginning nor end, but to simply get as far as you can

1-20: You make a spectacular start and get towards the canopy nets, climbing along them. However, you suddenly hear a snapping noise, and when you look down, your foot has been snared by a trap. Without warning, you go flying, right out of the obstacle course! Ouch!
21 - 40: You don't get very far, as some spears from the ground begin to fly at you, pinning you to a nearby tree. Yeah, someone's going to have to free you...
41 - 60: You finally pass the nets and spears and reach what looks like solid ground. Well that doesn't look too bad... that is until you step on a trap, a solid wooden crate trapping you entirely. It's gonna take a while for you to get out again.
61-80: At last you hit a rickety wooden bridge. The winds moving at what seem like ten thousand miles per hour make it impossible for you to fly past this obstacle. You cling to the bridge for dear life when suddenly - SNAP. Thankfully there is a net below... but its going to take a while to climb out.
81-100: You reach what you think is the end of the obstacle, cheering loudly. That is, until you notice a sign that says actual obstacle course ahead.(see below for horsemen point prompt)
