Obviously this may contain spoilers so read at your own risk.

My primary theory is Dany and Jon Snow marry and rule at the end for the win. And yes I read the ending of ADWD. But this is my primary and most simple and basic theory.

This is probably out of left field, but I'm secretly hoping Mirri Maz Duur was wrong and Daenerys' son Rhaego is alive (it seems in ASOIAF you don't know someone is dead unless you actually witness their death) and there will be a flash-forward to 20 years later when Rhaego is on the Iron Throne, and we get to see Rickon as Warden of the North. It would also be cool to see Shireen Baratheon all grown-up and badass (if she doesn't die... is that greyscale disease she has deadly?)

I really don't want to see Dany and Jon married, because if he really is Rhaegar and Lyanna's son, making her his aunt, it would be just plain creepy. Yes, it's what Targaryens do, but Jaime and Cersei were bad enough... (though they're my guilty pleasure pairing)

I'm kind of hoping that Arya shows up all bad a** like and takes over just like Nymeria took over Dorne (Arya named her wolf after the legend). And I'm hoping that Bran returns to become Warden of the North. Sorry but Rickon annoys me. I'm thinking that Arya is going to go join up with Danerys and meet Rhaegar's son Aegon. Kinda hoping that he likes her more than his Aunty Danerys. I like Dany and all but she's a bit... insane. She comes off as having the Targeryn craziness. cat_mrgreen

I would totally love this outcome, Arya coming and taking revenge on everyone begining with the Boltons, and then joining forces with Daenerys with Aegon as her consort or something. But I'm hoping Bran remains underground and Rickon becomes a fearsome and powerfull leader of the North, so far we've seen so little of him.
The only thing I really want is for Jeyne Westerling to never appear again or to not have conceived a wolf pup (I understand I may face disappointment in this one but that won't stop me from wishing, if anyone should be king/queen in the north it should be one of Ned's offspring, *cough*Rickon*cough* the unlikely just like Egg), that damn wedding was a mess for the Starks.

That's highly probable, I don't know if I'm wrong in this, but the next books should have a time skip, so by then most of the characters we know will be older or already dead.

I'd really like Stannis to sit on the iron throne (and having the Starks back as wardens of the north, of course). With that I would be a happy person.
