Need some help playing Minecraft? No problem that's why i'm here.

One thing you'll definitely need are some tools to help you explore the Minecraft world. since you first start out with hands you'll have to use that at first. Not that any tool has a usage rate and will break after a while of using it.

The main thing I need to make tools at the start of the game is wood. I choose this because no matter what you make you need sticks made from woods to make tools ad handles. Also wood is easily found except in the desert which can easily be walked off of.

To collect wood simply find a tree and hold mouse click. Holding you click will make you character attack the tree eventually breaking it causing wood to fall off. You'll need at least 6 pieces of wood before you can make all the tools. If you don't feel like collecting it all fine just collect 3 and then create an axe and a crafting table, then us the axe to get wood more easily.

Once you have your wood check your inventory (default is E). in there place your wood. Each piece of wood will convert into four wooden planks. If you collected the recommended 6 (or more) you should get 24 pieces of wood.

Next up create a crafting table. Crafting tables are needed for nearly all creating of materials. To create it simply take four blocks of wood and place them in a square in your inventory.

Once you have made your crafting table create 12 sticks. to make a stick take 2 wooden planks and set one above the other in any crafting ish place.

You'll need 12 sticks to make all of the tools (well 9...)
Now the actual tools. The first i'll teach you is the sword. Monsters aren't any fun right? So firstly a blade is needed to cut you up some safety and if you get hungry some meat!

Following the shovel will be an axe. Wood to hard to get? Not a problem, this little guy's got your back. A master cutter wood becomes MUCH easier to collect with one.

Next item will be the shovel. Who needs a shovel you ask? You do, for a number of reasons. Often times you will find yourself having trouble getting around thus a need to make a path yourself. A shovel or a pickaxe is your handiest tool depending on whether you like to mine or not (despite that being the MAIN purpose of the game; mining). Also shovels can help you get out of dirt and sand holes you may find yourself in and collect said materials if you want to create a sand or dirt house. Arrangements below.

Now for the almighty pickaxe. I hope you don't intend to stick with wooden tools. Stone tools will be much stronger. Are you a gold digger? No problem, this little guy will become your soul while underground. But know that a stone upgrade will be much more desirable (way below).

And lastly for basic tools, you will need a hoe. A hoe is a farming tool and unless you are into farming totally useless. On the other hand farming is a long term life loving game itself unless you want crops to grow while your playing. which will happen, you don't even have to pay much attention to them!

Now that your equiped with the basics would you like an upgrade? No problem, stone, steel, daimond, and gold can all substitute for wood (if you can get them. Excluding stone all of these items are harder than you'd expect to find). One you obtain the resources simply replance the wooden planks with it and voala, you have an upgrade!

note; cobblestone is what you get when you break stone.
