The entrance is actually a rather open area that spans the first three floors of the HQ building.
On the first floor you will find a welcome desk with a kind woman that will answer any questions you may have about the building. Behind her desk is an electronic bulletin board of sorts with the latest news from the Shinra company displayed upon it. Behind that is a waiting area where folks can sit and wait for family to get off of work, or for a meeting with one of the employees of the Shinra company.
On the second floor you will find an Item Shop and a television set that gets many different channels. Oftentimes adds will play showing the latest in the various lines of Shinra merchandise.
Finally, on the third floor you will find another small waiting area with a television and some small models of Shinra-brand vehicles.
