Have you ever read another story and you find yourself going, "OMG!! That soooo sounds like Anita?" or "That's what Anita would have done?"? Well, list the books here so other people can see!

Make sure to list the character's name, the book, and the author. Also feel free to list why it's totally Anita!!

Okay, this was the inspiration for this thread. I read a story and just practically thought it was Hamilton who had written it!!

The book is No One To Trust by Iris Johansen. The main character, Elena Tyler who was a Colombian guerilla is running away from a Colombian drug lord since she gave birth to his only son after he raped her. The reason I think she screams ANITA is because she doesn;t want help from anyone, doesn't trust people readily, always wants a gun, and kicks butt often since she was trained in what could be karate!!

I would suggest this novel to any AB fan!!

Most of Anne Rice's main characters remind me a bit of Miss Blake..

And the main character, Turquoise, of Midnight Predator by.. Amelia Atwater-Rhodes..

She kicks major vampyre arsch, hangs around with lycans, is trained to use weapons, and.. Is trained in martial arts.

theres a Gundam wing *yaoi Fanfic that remided me alot of the Anita Blake
Sereis ^^ it was so funny. i e-mailed the writer and she said that
a lot of people have said that about the story but she's never read Anita
Blake.

the charater Duo is in the Anita Roll. hunting mosnters, helping the police with pretenatul crimes when a master vampier asks for his help...and
has the hots for him ^^
He's sooo Anita if she was a guy, only he cuese more xd

Quatre is a Jason like Charater in the sex obsetion, joking around and messing with Duo and taking hits for the team

Wufie is soooo Nathanal: submissive clingy, striper shape sifter that's
compleatly dedicated to Duo. ^^

Herro isn't a Jean-Claude...he's more anigsty like Asher...maybe more
of a Travler type charater ^^

Odin is a Belle type charater in the "I made you i own you and i can destroy you type way...

And Sally is a Muestte (sp)

* Warings: it's yoai as in boy boy love, homosexual sexual situations
so if your not into that...i wouldn't advidse reading it...
also for those of you that don't like the sumutty turn Anita Blake has
taken you may not enjoy this cause in yaoi terms this story quilfies as
a lemon which is very sumty sumt. ^^

cant really name any at the moment but there are chars that sound so like her! o.o

A few of the Carpathian women in the Dark Series written by Christine Feehan. Some of the actions the women, like Raven and Savanna, sound like something Anita would do. No Anita wouldn't turn herself...

I thought it was very nice. And you are correct it is very Anita-ish.

I would suggest Midnight Presator by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes because the main character Turquoise kicks lots of vampire butt. I would also suggest Dark Destiny by Christine Feehan because the main character Destiny hunts vampires and is turned a half-vampire (sorta like the marks Jean-Claude gave her).
