Fulgora watched as the little ones around her played. She had wanted kids for so long and now her and Lantis had some of their own. She didn't mind that some of them were regular earth breed ponies. She was just happy that they all came from them. "Lantis, can you say that you're finally happy?"Lora was practicing her ability and trying to focus until her brother knocked her over onto her face. "Oh Raijin!" She glared at him. "Why must you distract me when I'm trying to focus?"
Raijin chuckled. "You silly girl...haven't you figure out yet that I know how to create a better storm." He smirked a bit with a cocky attitude. "I mean I already know how to do an acid rain. In fact, its my specialty."Lora rolled her eyes. "Specialty or not, you shouldn't be so careless sometimes."

Lantis watched his whole family next to his mate. It had been some time since they had been together and now finally they had a family. A family of their own. Even though there was just one kirin, he still would not treat any of them more special than the others due to his past. "I guess I could say so." A slight smile crossed his face, but it wasn't big.Imrathion was trying to create plants when he heard his siblings brawling before shaking his head and heading over. "Raijin, you know it's not really who's the best. It's the fact that the ability defines you and so what if Lora isn't as good as you. Sometimes they say the ones who brag are the ones who cover up."Arden looked over his shoulder at his siblings before sighing then looking back at the water. He didn't feel like getting involved with trivial matters of who was the best.

Fulgora raised an eyebrow at Lantis in a bit of confusion. "You guess so? What's wrong?" She did not understand how Lantis could not be happy. To be able to have a family and perhaps someone who understood him. It made no sense, then again from the day she met Lantis he did not seem like someone who would be too happy. It didn't matter. "Heh..." She sighed a bit. "At lest you aren't as mopey as when we first met."
Lora smiled kindly at Imrathion's words. "Thank you. At least someone has some common sense around here." She then looked back at Raijin with a half irritated look.
Raijin rolled his eyes at what Imrathion said. "Yeah yeah, you're one to talk and two what you think has nothing to do with us. Both me and Lora have the ability to control storms and the weather. You can only manipulate plants."

Lantis looked puzzled for a second. "Oh...it's nothing. I didn't mean to sound like I wasn't happy. I am...honestly." He looked out at the kids. "Although it seems one of them already has your headstrong personality."
Imrathion sighed and shook his head. "Fine...I just don't like seeing others being talked down to. Everyone has some importance in life. Most just don't know it yet."
Arden was playing with the fish in the water with one of his hooves. He really didn't feel like talking.

Fulgora looked towards the bickering Raijin. "Indeed...although I wish he didn't pick that one trait up. My mother acted like that a lot and I really hoped I didn't pass that trait on."
Raijin chuckled. "Of course Imrath." He stretched out getting back to his relaxed state. "Besides, I'm too bored now talking to all of you. I'm going to practice my speed." He then darted off to see how fast it would take before he got back.
Lora chuckled to herself while shaking his head. "He's definitely not the patient one. That's for sure." She looked towards Imrathion. "I'm sorry...he's normally not like this."

(I'm just going to keep Arden silent for now since I have no clue how to get him to interact. He's in a mopey mood)
Lantis chuckled a bit as he watched Raijin run off. "Well maybe it's a good thing. Someone here has to be loud anyways. I'm not and neither is Arden, Imrathion, or Lora. They all tend to their duties so seriously." He looked down at the ground. "I tended to do that a lot when I was young."
Imrathion watched as his brother darted off shaking his head again. "I don't see why he does those things. Then again I never was like that so I can't say much about that. I'm just glad we get a long unlike some families I've heard of."

Fulgora could see Lantis starting to get upset again. She wasn't about to let him become depressed again. "Look, it's in the past. You changed." She then got up. "I'll be back in a bit. I'm going to have a talk with Arden." She trotted over to him. "Hey there. I see you are playing with a fish. Did you know that there are some ponies that live in water actually?"
Raijin got bored of running and eventually stopped to explore the area he was in. "Alright now. They can't bug me here. Time to practice my abilities." He started to form a cloud, but barely got any electrical charge. "Darn it! I was sure I got it right this time!"
Lora shrugged. "Well I guess you're right on that. Still he is family and a good family member. Makes up for all us quiet and serious ones." She then cocked her head to the side. "Don't get a long? Like who?"

Arden stopped playing with the fish when his mom came over to talk to him. "Really? You're not lying are you?" Arden definitely didn't believe a lot of things, especially since he tended to be the most rooted of the group.
Lantis nodded his head. "Alright." He then watched Fulgora go and try to get their son to socialize. In the mean time he glanced over towards Raijin who was trying to form a storm. He was so outspoken, but Lantis loved that about him in a way. He walked over to him. "So what are you working on?"
Imrathion looked a bit disappointed. "Am I really that serious?" He then looked down. "Well there are some ponies in nearby herds I have heard of like the drow families that are so scattered. They either live together or decided to leave the drow ways and start a normal family."

Fulgora shook her head to what Arden said. "No. Of course not." She looked into the pond. "In fact I saw a baby seapony a couple days ago. I could introduce you to him sometime if you would like."
Raijin was trying to create a storm when Lantis came around, but all he caused was static. "I'm practicing so I can be the best storm caster. I hope to be like mom one day. Is that why you married her?"
Lora shrugged. "Well either way, it shouldn't matter. Just be you and that's what counts." She paused for a sec. "Although that's what mom said to me." Lora listened to the last part of what Imrathion said. "Really? I never heard of them before, but it sounds like tons of drama."

Arden cocked his head towards his mother. "Alright. That sounds good." He looked back at the water. "How comes you know so many different types of ponies?"
Lantis smiled proudly at Raijin. "Indeed and I am sure you will be." He blushed however on the second comment. "Well...that's not quite the main reason why, but um..it was something more."
Imrathion nodded his head. "Indeed and she's right." Imrathion listened to what else Lora said. "Yes there are. Actually my dad knows one of the males. His name is Dusk and his mother would of killed him if he lived with her since at the time he was a weak male. Those are the types that are despised the most in the drow society."

Fulgora smiled at her son. "Well I did a little exploring before I met your dad. I hadn't known what type of species were around besides kirin. I was surprised that us kirin are considered rare."
Raijin cocked his head to the side. "Something more?" He scoffed a bit. "Whatever, I would marry someone for their power. That and that alone can be a huge motivating factor."
Lora was surprised at how cruel the drow sounded. "Wow. I definitely would hate to see that happen to anyone. Even though I am a female, I would never wish harm to males or try to make them my slaves."

Arden was still in his "leave me alone" sort of phase, but he listened to his mother intently. "I see. Well what type of journeys did you go on?"
Lantis sighed and shook his head. "Then it appears you still have much to learn. However, if that's what you wish then go for it. However, I'm not sure if it will make you happy or not."
Imrathion chuckled. "Well that's good to know. I wouldn't want to be your slave either." He took a playful swipe at her. "You definitely are a force not to be reckoned with."
