Gender: Female
Race: Fae dryad. Her tree form is that of a maple.
Age: Approximately 350 years old, but has a youthful, ageless, appearance. (Think some where in the twenties.)
Build: I haven't given her a definitive height or weight, but she is tall and slender, in a stick-like fashion. She is curvy enough to be definitively female, but not obviously so. She's too thin to be healthy for a human. Best reference I can give for her body type is Christina Aguilera in this video: Nobody Wants To Be Lonely. Her overall appearance is human; no pointy ears or odd eye slants/pupils/what-not. However, please keep in mind that she is dryad, which in this case means part tree, and her appearance reflects this to an extent.
Hair: Her hair is long and straight, typically worn down and unadorned. It's length is generally kept a little above her waist. Her hair coloring changes with the season just as her leaves do. In the spring a yellowed green, in the summer a vibrant green, in the fall a bright orangish pink. In the winter her hair is brown matching the bark of her tree form. Just as her leaves do not all turn at once neither do the strands of her hair. In the autumn as it shifts towards pink there are often yellows, and oranges mixed in with the greens and pinks. This picture turned up in a google image search for autumn maple leaves and in part inspired the fall multi-colored variant. There are some other wonderful images that show up in the same search if you need more refs for color.
Facial features: Her eyes are a vivid green that match the shade of her hair in the summer. They often reflect her intense curiosity. I have no reference for shape presently. This is the best reference I can find for her face (unfortunately I seem to have just saved that from Google without the link ^^;). The lips and face shape are pretty much what I'd pictured. She does not have freckles and her skin is a pale fleshy pink, she does not tan.
Typical Clothing/Dress: Her preference is to wear none, but most of her time is spent around humans and she has accepted that as inappropriate in human culture. She prefers clothing with a loose fit made from light fabrics. She likes dresses and skirts that drape in soft (and when appropriate sheer) fabrics. I most easily picture her in gypsy style clothing; an off the shoulder/s shirt (though not in a style gathered with elastic) and a loose skirt with a triangular sash at her waist. She loves the look of ball gowns and sometimes daydreams about dancing in them, but the thought of wearing so many layers of fabric induce feelings of suffocation. Most of her clothes are in creams and browns, with accents of green. Though she adores the bright colors of autumn she is not comfortable in such vibrant colors. Even in the winter her clothing is minimal, and regardless of season she is loath to wear shoes (she should be drawn barefoot). She doesn't like the feel of metal against her skin and rarely wears any sort of jewelery.
Though I most readily picture her in gypsy style clothing her taste is somewhat diverse and leans towards what humans may consider scanty or inappropriate for public. While she does try to be respectful of what humans find acceptable she doesn't always manage this. While Autumn's preferences allow for attire that may be of a more sexually provocative nature (and she would wear it) her attitude and posture would not be seductive, but rather naive and innocent in possible contrast to the clothing.
I do not have any specific clothing designs that I would like to see her in at this time. My preference is to allow the artist to come up with her attire. Keep in mind her preference runs towards an asymmetrical look, if not design; shirt off one shoulder, skirt higher on one side—possibly tucked up, maybe a skirt that is symmetrical but consists of layers of triangular fabric. If you find you need something more specific please let me know. I'm also happy to have ideas run past me.
Weaponry: Quarter Staff. This has special significance to her and she is never without it. However, I'm fine with art of her without it as well as with it. There is nothing particularly notable about her staff appearance wise. Both ends are rounded and the entire staff is straight and smooth.
Please note: While Autumn is fae and has a mischievous streak she's also very shy. She appears naive and innocent.
