The Trio used to visit the Wilderness on warmer days to hunt for food. Whether it came in the form of rabbits or berries, they did whatever they had to do to survive. On other days, this was a favorite hangout for the Trio. They would journey through the Wilderness just to play or have a mini-adventure of their very own, the same way the knights of the kingdom often did!
Nowadays, the Wilderness is a much more dangerous place. Once Virule summoned the Heartless, the creatures of the Wilderness became much more dangerous. Not only that, but some Heartless still remain, as well as creatures the people of Aegis had never seen before: Nobodies. Without their guardian, nobody visits the Wilderness anymore. It's too dangerous a place, and oftentimes, large Heartless and Nobodies can be seen wandering, even just barely beyond the walls of Aegis Castle Town.
