I wasn't sure where to put this subject, so I figured I'd just post it in the main area and allow the mods to put it where they see it fits best =)
I am a part-time florist, and today when I entered work I saw resting atop my floral counter a note that said the following: "We hope you have a good weekend, and we hope this brightens your day!"
I have no idea if it was left by a coworker or a customer. Either way, I was touched by the note, as I've never come across such anonymous kindness. I admit, it really did put a smile on my face and brightened my day.
Thank you, whoever you are, for this pleasant note.

I decided to pay it forward. A few days ago I wrote three pleasant notes of my own and pinned them on the windshield, under the wipers, on some cars around my local mall's parking lot.
Hopefully it brightens their day a bit like the note I received did for me.

3 years ago I was heading into a Subway with my partner when a couple of little girls approached us and gave us a carnation with a note attached. I don't remember what it said, but it was something to do with a random act of kindness and paying it forward. It was really sweet. smile
