Confront whatever issues you have in your life. If it's holding a secret.. tell someone or write it down.

Put some amethyst under your pillow.
Could also try to pick up meditation to see what's got you troubled. Start journaling.
Nightmares are a way for us to force our conscious mind to face something we have been ignoring. It can be difficult at times to decipher what message is being given, but it's not impossible.
Anyone you need to forgive? Do you have anxiety issues? etc etc. Different things. Relative to each person.

Recently I've been waking up in the middle of the night, next to my boyfriend, just having dreamt about my ex, & then I get this horrible guilty feeling because I kinda wanted it to be real.
