The Hayden Law is the law set in California to give shelter animals a better chance of being adopted, more time in the shelter and be provided with veterinary care. The governor of CA is considering a repeal of this law and if that happens this means there will be no vet care, no records being kept and their time in the shelter will be reduced to only 72 hours before euthanasia.
