Name: The Cat
Appearance:
The illustration of the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland, on a single cutout of medium weight paper, like from a hardbound book. This can change shape as the picture on it moves. The ink moves in a scratchy way like slow-frame animation, and the "frames" of movement are not evenly spaced. It's about two feet high.
Powers: Mostly, it's creepy as ********. If this was Call of Cthulhu, you'd be losing sanity points as you try to figure out how a two-dimensional cat could exist in a three-dimensional world. Other than that it can wrap it's body around things. It would probably tear if it tried to crush something, but it's quite possible that it could suffocate someone if it got over their mouth. It can also cover rocks.
Weakness: Fire, water, a good tear, scissors. It's actually quite easily defeated, given that it's made of a single sheet of paper.
Anything else you'd like to share: This sounded really creepy in my head but I don't think I'm describing it very well.
