Nine Years Nine years going down the drain, Many friends never to see again. Nine years going past, Seeing how good years go by fast. Nine years of memories, Hearing a lot of gossip and stories. Nine years of laughs and cries, Knowing that we've tried. Nine years of agony and pain, Admitting that we weren't all sane. Nine years of different* teachers, Looking upon our distinct features. Nine years of trying hard, Some thinking they were retards. Nine years of playing games, Every year wasn't the same. Nine years that are going to stay in my heart, As I have a new start.

Interesting, but I think you coud have added more colorful words, like, try to describe a bit more and try not to force the rhyme.

What happened that made the nine years end? I think it would give the poem a lot more clarity if you would tell what happened somehow. It's a good poem, I am just curious as to what the nine years is about...
