With the coming of living things in this world came spirits with the ability to control different elements. These guardians of the elements had a special form that seemed to be a mixture of those living things around them. They were often anthropomorphic creatures, taking on the form of something halfway between animal and human. They lived in relative harmony with the animals and plants around them, since they were like forces of Nature itself, though it is only natural for living things to conflict. But as time passed, the world came into control of one species over the others: humans. And in the presence of humans, it became necessary for the Anthropomorphs to blend in, or they would be ridiculed, persecuted, and even hunted, just because they were different.

In the history of man, enough time passed that the presence of Anthropomorphs faded from memory to become a myth. Guardians of the elements continued to live amongst all living things, including the humans, but even they began to forget their beginnings. They went on with their lives like anyone else does, rearing the new generations by passing on their instincts and ever-fading knowledge. And to this day, most simply strive to fit in, holding in that wonderful yet dangerous secret - that they are not human, but spirits caught between humanity and nature.

The forgotten history

Its been long known to certain Anthros that their true history seems to have been forgotten by most of their kind. Some time ago certain anthros had dreams dealing with their lost past, due to this a few of the pack leaders had came forword and told of the lost past,

Within the ancient city of Atlantis, humans were starting to make choices that endangered nature. Seeing this, a group of priests and priestesses decided that they needed a way to help the people of the city and the rest of the world to find a way to preserve nature. After much debating it was decided to take different sprits of nature itself and give them corporal form so that they could interact with human and help them with making better choices.

The form they choice for the sprits were that of an anthro, a being part human and part animal. The human part of them gave them free will to do as they pleased, and the animal part of them to keep them tied to nature, which made them closer to nature than humans. For some reason unknown to the priests and priestesses the sprits always took the form of human males. Even though the sprits looked mostly human they still had animal characteristics, and seeing that the priests and priestesses knew that not all humans would accept them so they cast a powerful spell on them, preventing normal human beings from seeing their true form. The only humans in which could see them are those whom are descendants of those ancient priests and priestesses.

The group created more than just one breed of anthros from the sprits, and each breed was its own clan. In each of these clans were two leaders, an alpha and a beta, each of which were in charge of a different element. Then to protect the breeds from gaining too much power the group bounded some of the breeds together. Through these bindings the breeds gained different talents, characteristics, and things in which they held dominion over.

Throughout time the anthros spread throughout the world, trying to keep up with the ever changing human societies and technology. The breeds started to cross breed spreading out there gifts from the bindings that their ancient creators gave them into the other breeds. In time though, the anthros began to forget their reason for creation, this was mainly from the fact that the anthros now were very used to fitting in with humans. They were now starting to act and think like the humans as well. Now most of the anthros have even forgotten who had created them, those that do keep the information to themselves??

Anthropomorph Breeds

Here is a list of all currently known breeds, as well as info about the breeds.

Angel Anthros

Angels Anthros tend to be very loyal and protective. They also try to do what is right. Fallen and Dark Angels on the other hand, well they dont fallow this....

Bear Anthros

The bears tend to be the lazy sort. They spend most of their time enjoying sitting about, talking and perhaps catching a good nap. Though they are lazy they are also very loyal, no better friend than a big cuddly teddy bear.

Bunny Anthros

Bunnies love to cuddle. They tend to be the more timid of the Anthros, but are quiet loving creatures.

Cat Anthros

The cat Anthros tend to be very courious. They can also be quiet moody.

Coon Anthros

Coons seem to be the neat freaks of the anthros, even more so than the cats, they can almost always find one of them grooming themsleves.

Demon Anthros

The Demons are the opposites of the Angels. They tend to be loners and love to cause chaos.

Fox Anthros

Foxes can be pretty sly and swift when they want to be. Some are even tricksters and will sneak up on you when you are not expecting it.

Lamia Anthros

Birth: These anthros lay eggs. The babies are then hatched from these eggs.

Mer Anthros

Mers are the under water Anthros. They tend to be very artistic, and love to swim around. Mers can speek telepathically when under water to each other and other beings. Mers can take human form to walk on land, but can only be out of watter for 6 hours at a time, anylonger than that they will get very very sick.

Birth: These anthros give live birth. The babies are born from a pouch infront of the the mer, much in the same way a seahorse gives birth.

Monkey Anthros

Monkies are the most Playful of the breeds. They love to play day and night.

Pheonix Anthros

The pheonix are the mystics. They are the clairvoyants and the seers. They are the ones that will tell you your future of predict a catastrope. If a Pheonix tells you something, you would do best to trust them.

Raptor Anthros

The raptors are a mean sort. They are normally ill tempered and the most likely to tear your throat out for looking at them the wrong way. Do not pick a fight with them.

Unicorn Anthros

Unicorns are the most mystical of the breeds, many believe they hold powers that they keep secert to others. Unicorns can be both shy and dearing.

Wolf Anthros

Wolves love to be with others of their kind, and are truly the most pack oriented of the group. You may find a lone wolf or to, but that is rare. Wolves tend to find their emotions and can be very dearing and self sentered. Wolves will do anything to protect what is dear to them.

Stages of Life.

There are two ways an Anthropomorph can come into this world. The first is the rarest of ways and that is by an mystic orb that has a dormit spirit of an anthro in it. The 2nd way is when two anthros come together to have a baby, this has just resently become more common amongst the anthros.

Orb to Spirit to Anthro

When an Anthropomorph starts off as an orb, which in itself is a manifestation of a large mass of spiritual energy, it will eventually unravel into the form of a child like spirit. After awhile the spirit will start to shift into it's true form, that which is an true adult anthro.

Babies

On the other hand when two anthros breed they create a new life and produce a baby. This is done by a sharing of their spiritual energy. Babies are only obtainable from a breeding.
