Our previous familiar colorist has left, for a much needed break from Gaia. With the supply of Azrein and the demand for Familiars, there are many who want a Familiar -- but alas! -- we have no colorists! Azrein colorists are constantly working and have no time for the Familiars, so this is where y o u come in!
We have some simple rules
●●●●xxxxxx Familiars do not get edited as of right now. However, in the future [once we get one or two capable colorists, of course], Familiar edits will become available. Please make one edited sample if you would like to potentially do edits in the future. However, editing is not required.
●●●●xxxxxxYour payment consists of staff credits to spend on Azrein and Familiars, as well as 7o% of what you make!
●●●●xxxxxxYou will be responsible for updating the Familiar Owner's List.
●●●●xxxxxx You will have to cert your own Familiars, name them properly, and put the certed and uncerted images in the proper Photobucket folders.
If that's all good, then take this .png and give us t w o to t h r e e samples! It's not shaded, and don't worry about shading; we're okay with just seeing your coloring!
However, if you would like to impress us and just can't stop yourself from shading, then by all means, go for it!

After the FallSamples:  About how long does it take for you to finish a Familiar? Edited? Unedited? It depends if the familiar already has a template or not and the detail asked for on the pet. Although the most it has taken me is 3 hours. Additional Information: What are your greatest strengths and weaknesses, art and time wise? My strength is having a lot of spare time to do them since I'm currently unemployed irl and enjoying the work that I do, it helps me relax. My weakness, to be honest is having difficulty putting down on paper exactly what I envision in my mind. We conduct Staff Meetings over AIM. Do you have or are you willing to get it to participate? Yes, I have AIM and am willing to participate. HoA is not somewhere you can be inactive. Are you up to the challenge of the shop's rising popularity, fast pace, and quick -- but QUALITY -- turnout of Familiars for HoA? Indeed I am. (( I'll post more samples once I'm done with them. ^_^......and I just noticed some color outside of the lines that I didn't see before. O.o So I'll repost when I get it fixed. whee ))

I feel I'm pretty good at executing an idea.. sometimes i have difficulty coming up with new ideas. I love working with themes and making pets to fit a theme. Time wise, I have had trouble with finding time to work, but I'm down to one job now and usually have weekends free, so that shouldn't be an issue anymore. We conduct Staff Meetings over AIM. Depends on complexity...anywhere from a half-hour to...I think this first girl took 6ish hours to do...I'm also pretty a**l and want my stuff to be GOOD <3 Additional Information: How often I color for the next few months merely depends on school, however, doing familiars are easier than azrein if only because I won't have to do breedings, and these are all just one stage. What are your greatest strengths and weaknesses, art and time wise?Strengths - I'm a VERY fast learner, I pick up alot of what I see in LS's of the staff, and I'm willing to try new things Weakness - the fact that I've only been doing this 2 years total and not all at one go, it's been bits here and there for around a total of 2 years experience. Before I did this, all I ever did was sketch...NEVER did anything remotely like this, so I'm proud of how far I've come since I started <3 I GOTS LOTS TO LEARN We conduct Staff Meetings over AIM. Greatest Strenght is my willing to always learn more. Be better at my coloring, Edits. My weakness is in not having much experince. Also have two kids so it slows my work down. I see beauty in art. I want to add more dementions and do my best. We conduct Staff Meetings over AIM. Do you have or are you willing to get it to participate? Yes I am. (You have my Aim already.) Depends on the amount of work/homework. Usually to finish it would take me a couple days, if I get busy. If not, it'd take me not long at all. Additional Information: owo Hi? Trash Bandits (reference under Akira-Kisho) Samples: Shaded as best as I could to the actual lines. I'm sure on the real lines (if hired) I would be able to mesh edit to line easier too. About how long does it take for you to finish a Familiar? Edited? Unedited? Edited, it took me about an hour, and unedited, if I know what I'm doing, probably only about 20ish minutes. Additional Information: I honestly didn't know what I was making with this one. With no stress/worry of getting hired or not, and more of a familiarity with the lines, I can get really inventive with designs and edits. What are your greatest strengths and weaknesses, art and time wise? Greatest strength would be hair? I really love hair shading. Weakness would be color theory, I won't lie, I'm not "too" good on it. I am rather good with come cloth, accessories and simple hair edits. I am still learning how to make the hair look more realistic. I am also okay at doing complicated spotting, stripes and blended coloring. We conduct Staff Meetings over AIM. Do you have or are you willing to get it to participate?
