Cynder was a free-to-good-home kitten. After Princess, I decided I want a black one -- I didn't want to unintentionally allow myself to have a cat that was a "replacement" for the one I had lost. She does have random strands of white fur that are hard to see and she looks like a deep chocolate brown in the sun. Personality wise, she's a brat -- if ever I'm complaining about a cat in the way, it's her -- and tends to think I'm a bed or couch. She also tends to get jealous when my attention is on someone else.

Izzy was found by my mom in a pond as a kitten. We were not originally going to adopt her but the co-worker decided she didn't care too much for cats and her toddler daughter was afraid of the furball. My dad was away on a trip so naturally we kept her. Personality wise, she tends towards laziness -- though she'll play with you if you try. She can be a bit of a haglet though, there are days where she'll hiss or growl at you for apparently no reason. I imagine it's because she likes to flop in the worst spots and gets stepped on at times.

Princess & Tiger

Tiger is on the left, he has more gray on his head and (unable to see in the image) a large gray spot on his right side, I believe. Princess is on the right with the mouse between her paws, she has less gray on her head and (unable to see in the image) a small gray spot on the back of her left leg, I believe. They were siblings and really the first cats I remember owning. Tiger died at a young age when a bubble burst in his vein or so I have been told. Princess was my cat for eleven years until she went outside and never came home. Personality wise, Tiger and Princess were joined at the hip quite a bit. I don't remember him, too much, but she was the Queen Bee. She was stoic enough to let me hold her and dress her up in doll dresses (I'm was little!) but fierce enough that she chased a dog down the street. She was also the cat that brought us presents -- the two most remembered by my mom (since I was at that lame place known as school) are half a rabbit and a live baby bunny. The latter which she let loose in the house; probably one of the stranger calls my father has gotten: "You have to come home and help me find the rabbit! I think it's under the entertainment center!" In short Princess pretty much rocked.

Stripes

After Tiger passed, being the lovely kid sister, I asked my brother if he wanted a new cat. My mom picked out Stripes from the shelter. He was often loud and always skinny. He had to be put to sleep in August 2011. Personality wise, he loved being held and "tortured" by my brother. He didn't care to be held by anyone else (but neither do Cynder or Izzy) for more than a minute. He meowed a lot and was my alarm clock. But he was the one who had empathy, the one who would try to meow away tears or lick my cheek.

Sherlock

Sherlock was my diabetic superdog. He developed diabetes at around eleven and was given shot twice daily from then on. He became ill and my mom had to make the difficult choice to put him to sleep while I was away at a funeral, being my father's support. Of course he ended up being my emotional support when the call came. January 2011 was not a good time of year. Personality wise, Sherlock loved to run and play. As a puppy he would get loose and we'd have to chance him around the neighborhood or tear up the (really old and ugly) carpet in the living room. He wasn't the smartest dog but he loved to sit on laps or give kisses. I'm pretty sure he also thought he was a cat or a parrot, he'd get on the couch and stretch himself onto the back of it to steal a sandwich you were holding in your other hand or climb up and sit on your shoulder. He was lazier when he got older but he was basically blind as well.

As in order from favorite to least -- it does change from time to time -- as I can manage. Basically anything from Good Hybird to Werewolf is a-okay. After that it depends on the colors and markings a lot. I have yet to see a Zombie I really like so that's the only one to avoid!
